Just entered a free contest to test and can confirm when pressing submit I had to watch a 5-10 second advert.

Just tried a free game and no advert for me but I haven't as yet done the app update that came out a few days ago. I don't think I will either now.

It said update the app but it did not go through as it directed me to the US version of their IOS app. The ads i started noticing on the desktop first this week and then on the app just after entering a team (free or paid entry) line-up this week too.

Horrid ads and you can not click to stop it. It will play to the full. Guess they must be desperate for cash and good to see none of the UK platforms have gone through this route so far.

I noticed DK starting putting adverts up on the main site, only small ones, but top and centre when lineup building. I am not sure they are targeted ads, as:

1) I don't live in America and therefore won't go to that particular vegetable supplier.
2) I don't tend to buy vegetables.

I have not played on the site that long, but I think it was "Pure" before that.

Well I tweeted the main UK guy this

I've heard that the @dkuk app will start delivering adverts to people before they enter line ups, is this true @TatsuTweets ? #DFS

and got this

@WorldCupDanB @dkuk UK users will rarely see ads in the App - currently there are none. And they are not part of the contest entry path.

It doesnt fill me with confidence

Anybody going to the Telegraph/DraftKings fantasy football event at the Emirates?

Crosses change isn't a massive nerf, but enough to help balance things some. 8 man rosters is ****ing massive though. Makes me enjoy playing again.

Crucial that they changed to 8man teams before this summer imo with all of the small copa/euro slates.

No issues with 8 or 11 player rooster myself. But with 50k max salary, 11 rooster was too much hustle to find value and stay under the salary cap.

Crossing scoring lowered is good and has a bit of balance now. Late swap becomes key in tournament as well as some of the Copa America teams are taking experimental B-sides. Prize pools are decent at the lower stake.

But the main issue is the players list is incomplete for Copa and will check the Euro as well. Where is Ricardo Oliveria for Brazil ? Where is Pablo Aguilar for Paraguay ? Will be nice to see a complete player list before the first game starts.

Are you sure? Both of those withdrew because of injury.

Only injury I have heard of this week is Douglas Costa and replaced by Kaka. I will double check on latest injuries and cross-check with the players list.

Thanks for the link.

Only had a quick look on the IOS version and the web browser. Maybe I am missing something really obvious but I couldn't see any way to enter the same lineup into multiple competitions??

Surely you dont have to pick your team from scratch again for every entry
