Depay/deulo weren't that likely to play when I asked about strikers given history, thought deulo decent fade given no lukaku target to cross to & he hardly ever gets 90 with everton having so many wide players.
Played depay but still think there wasn't any real good options today.
Kdb getting nothing killed me too.

That's why I said martial in parenthesis. Gerry d was pretty likely to play.

I thought Martial & Rooney/Rashford would be the ones to go for. However they must have been completely awful to only beat us (Villa) 1-0.

I didn't even consider Deulofeu for a number of reasons. Saints have a pretty solid defence and Bertrand is good, Everton have been awful & have no Lukaku. He's not playing 90 minutes very often at all.

Rooney coming off an injury had to be a fade, he was never gonna play 90 min. Seemed like a game where Depay was gonna play full 90 and Villa is dog**** so even a Depay could do well.

I went with Long and had Aguero in some line ups, so ran well with Aguero I guess.

Utd was alright and probably could've scored a few more.

Rooney's record v us is insane so even coming off an injury and 60 minutes was enough for me. We are the gift that keeps on giving.

I figured the KDB assist wasent given for the slight touch off the defender and I get that it is OPTA and not DK calling the shots here. But some common sense needs to be applied in football sometimes.

The Aguero shot also deflected before going in and the general rule is if the shot was on target the forward gets the goal. Why not apply the same common sense to assists? If the pass was on target to a team and takes a slight touch it still counts. If the pass takes a wicked deflection and goes somewhere complete different then by all means dont count that as an assist.

Max lineup today very interesting, looks like he picked that 2 days ago and just left it untouched.

Depay (originally martial) and gerry d were the 2 clear optimal picks for fwd in a vacuum.

Though when everton put out a weak team I was a bit skeptical about how they would do and almost completely pivoted off all their players (coleman + gerry d -> bertrand + long was prob correct). Absolutely disgusting aguero gets a hat trick on 4 shots total and kdb misses 2 break aways while getting jipped out of an assist. Also rashford luckboxing a goal on his only sot is pretty standard as well (was obvious him and rooney were prob only going 60-70 min and were prob complete fades).

Yeah he must have felt bad for raping everyone with his run good recently. My favorite part is that it wouldn't even be a good lineup if the team sheets went exactly how he wanted.

Just seeing this at the weekend. Let me share it, a good intro on match markets at Buabook and turning profit using leverage/margin trading.

No need to worry about ownership levels, multi-entry, players non-starting, fitting under salary cap and all the extra hassles you get in the DFS football games.

You can ask them on Twitter which countries they operate in.

BuaBook is an independent company and they have white labelled it to whoscored.

Slick platform and app. One to keep an eye on for Euro 2016 and new season.

Wonder how @BuaBook match markets work? We walk you through when to buy & sell your players here: http://wscrd.co/LCFCvWHUFC

Also a forgotten site (fanager) which was active last season and started around World Cup in 2014. www.fanager.com

They coming back revamped starting with Euro 2016. Looks like Mondo, DK and BuaBook will be open for Euro 2016.

Also Fan Duel have their license granted in the UK and active, so could make a splash for Euro 2016.

With the premier league winding down, time to brush up on the big summer football tournaments. We will be spoiled with all the varying platforms (getting to twenty plus soon) competing for customers.

If anyone is after something different, here is a first DFS football site played with bitcoins and prizes in bitcoins. Guessing it will be shark & whale free, fun and soft.

Have a look at this. Most will go busto in no time playing like this, good to see they make it back in soccer. Anyway it looks like there is around 80-100 heavy volume players on DK. Counted around 5-10 of them on the soccer contests. What will these sites do without them ?

I had Alexis-Puncheon picked to start my cash games but upon seeing Liverpool go with an entirely 2nd team in midfield and back I went for Ritchie-Gradel.
Do you guys find this a sound decision?

Wasn't around for the 2014 World cup (started playing fantasy last October). What kind of tournaments to expect on mondo / DK for the Euro? Most days seem to have only 1,2 or 3 matches, and mondo's tourneys are always one-day. Will it just be short slates the whole tournament then? How big will GPPs be compared to EPL?

No. Nor was Puncheon in the first place.

It gets tricky on deciding the motivation factor with the season nearly done. So legit to look at team's line-up and decide accordingly. Bournemouth look relieved with survival in the Premier League and already on holiday mode. So are Chelsea but after a crap season.

Palace and Watford have players wanting a place in FA Cup semi-final and possible final. No worries on motivation. Last few games are a variance feast and best to have a conservative approach to bankroll.

These sort of tournaments will be welcome for any serious DFS site. A quiet summer will be rake free for them otherwise.

The group stages will have a lot of 3-4 game contests. Then they will offer another championship for the semi-final and final.

Last summer Mondo had the woman's World Cup in Canada and Copa America in Chile with a final $10k championship. So guessing at least a £20k championship covering the semi-final and final of Euro & Copa America Centenario in the US.

Your narratives are ridiculous. If anything teams with massive fixture congestion due to FA cup should likely be avoided since most of the attacking players are sub risks. Also likely to rotate and put out sub par lineups.

Regarding liverpool. I was bearish on them after seeing their roster. Model was meh on them to begin with @ bournemouth, but I'm at the point where I prob need to rate them higher as their underlying numbers have greatly increased lately (no surprise it comes with sturridge's return). Biggest leak in my(and most others) model is properly valuing teams based on how much specific players can affect a teams out put.

It happened with arsenal when coqzorla was out for a while as well where my model overrated them a bunch even though their numbers nosedived. Meanwhile it's underrating liverpool even though their offensive numbers have gone way up.

I really wish there was an efficient way to do WOWY comparisions, but with how subs work you can almost never get a significant sample to draw good conclusions from. Just kinda have to audible sometimes and hope your eye test / intuition is right (I'm usually really good at this, but have made a lot of mistakes this season).

So the mistake did not show in the logs, or is it just that the logs are too big and hard to go through to be sure?

They had no record of the mistake. The logs they have are definitely not complicated, they are far too basic imo.

So if you took all entries in their transaction history and summed them up, it did not add up to what was shown as your balance. I think I'll do that for me.
