Indeed Tarrou, I am on the sharing info camp. Ultimately it is having patience, playing a decent sample size of games plus quality information all added up that gives one a very good edge. It takes time and will not happen overnight.

On the DK GPP prize pool. I am making an educated guess here. 25k GPP will still be very big increase from what we are used to.

That will be 2.5 times larger than Mondo 10k GPP which they only managing to fill around 75% mark this season. So 100k GPP will be massive for us over here, a big leap. Not that I will complain at all.

Take you at your word Tarrou. So first site with late swap feature and smooth platform. Look forward to play there.

Are they making the announcement at Ice Totally Gaming event in London going on this week ?

I play around 10 plus DFS platform's, going to be hard to keep up with all my line up's. Will be glad to narrow it down to around half that.

I'm sure something is planned for ICE, yeah, but all I know is they are having a big Superbowl party as part of the launch festivities (as was invited).

How the hell do you manage to play 10!? That's a lot of work! I'm just planning on DK only, at least while i'm getting used to it.

The other DFS sites in Europe must be ****ting it about now. Hard to see many surviving if DK goes as well as you'd expect.

Okay, enjoy and have a good time. Indeed Super Bowl 50 on Sunday, they been part of the NFL London promotion this year so does make all sense.

Trust me you will laugh if you saw me in the last hour before kick-off, so many tabs open and flipping from one site to the other. It is fun but also a big hustle too.

I split the sites like this. Those with scoring like FPL and captaincy options. Those that are new and I am getting a feel of the game play. Those with detailed scoring and offering diverse league competitions. Finally those I have managed to build a steady bankroll on.

So far, I have not found one platform that ticks all boxes. Most are hit and miss, wishing they improve and we can have one or two standout superior product.

Mondo's game has pretty much become about finding assists & goals to finish in cash positions. That is a shame as they could benefit from an all-rounded scoring.

Clean sheets do not matters as much, as long as games finish on single goals.

I have not seen many win playing different formations. It is 3-4-3 mainly.

You can pick players who win man of the match but will be scraping three or four points. Maybe with all competition from the varying platform's, they can fine tune it.

Yep Remember your username but don't think you post much these days?

Just to clarify I don't work for DK. They have a license from the UK gambling commission only but I'm sure they have plans in place to get the rest of Europe sorted. I believe Ireland has it's own license now but not sure on that.

First of all thanks to guys from www.fantasyfootballportal.com and WorldCupDanB for review and feedback.

We also had a topic on 2p2, but it was deleted with reason "spam" - sorry, probably we understood the rules bad.

About Mondogoal: we have a dialogue with them, but they are not too positive about this idea since it can injure players who lose or just have fun and don't want their stats to be public. In this case we will add an option to opt-out soon, but still not sure about them. So if you really want Mondogoal to be added, I guess you can write them with positive feedback, to show what players think about that.

In the meantime, we are working on adding FantasyBet and probably AlphaDraft (eSports).

If you have any suggestions, contact us in this topic, pm or contact form at DFStats.net.

Thanks WorldCupDanB and fantasyfootballportal.com again!
Hi,

I think this is really dangerous ground. Can you confirm which sites are giving you access to "Net Winnings"?

Having a lot of experience in the Poker Table Ratings saga, I am very worried that operators are giving out this information.

The effect of these kinds of sites on the long term casual player is pretty terrible for the operator. There are a multitude of reasons why these kinds of sites are damaging and hurt the economy in the long term.

I would never play at any operator that gives this information away freely, I am not certain that they have the best interests of the DFS economy at heart.

As far as "Opt Out", this option only mitigates some damage if people are aware of the site. A much better option all round would be to have an "OPT IN" function, where those who want to show off are able to, and those who are big losers are protected. (It's reasonable to assume that big losers do not educate themselves to a high enough degree, and will not know about the site's existence).

Rant over =)

I don't really know much about this from a poker point of view, are you not able to go onto a site and view a previous tournament and the results?

I know Fanteam show every tournament that has been held and you can go into them and see how they went, personally I like this level of transparency. I guess a by-product of this openness is that the data can then be picked up and used in this way. I think the opt-in idea is good and protects players but assume hardly anybody would actually want to opt in so guess they won't do it. Maybe having an opt-in and monthly leaders gets a prize is the only way this would work (I think that is how rotogrinders works?).

2ND everything gj said. It's best to avoid giving access to see who winners and losers are. Creates a culture of bum hunting (or makes it worse). As it will make it easier to see who is good/bad and target/avoid accordingly. Also creates a bit of public shaming which you definitely want to avoid. Sites exist where you can track your own results in detail and do analysis accordingly on opponents and that's how it should probably stay.

I highly doubt any of the sites are giving anyone access to 'net winnings' are they? Whether they can scrape the results themselves somehow is another question.

Also, shouldn't it be DFSstats as opposed to DFStats? :-)

The DK launch has been delayed slightly, I heard, but shouldn't be too far off.

Noticed they tweeted this yest... "We're touching down in the UK very soon *wink wink*"

Just hurry up and launch already!

There is nothing unethical about DFSstats. Some of this DFS platform's have already gone the path of having a leaderboard and promoting total winnings across social media & their sites. They think it is a legit way of marketing and attracting new players to deposit & play.

Obviously seeing a person advertised winning 100k but having net profit which is much less makes them look disingenuous. So they rather stay that way and oppose DFSstats.

Think these sites will be on much stronger ground if they were not promoting player winnings in such fashion. It is very obvious there is a lot of short-term attitude and they want to make as a quick profit as possible. Would some of these sites be around after a few seasons ? It looks most unlikely, the paying customer comes second.

So I see DFSstats as much needed transparency and a way players can educate themselves. What is your average buy-in ? How much should your average buy-in be ?What percentage is your win/cashing rate ? What contests are winnable and which are best avoided ? It is a good feedback tool.

The only site that allows to check one's stats is SportDraftr, you can see mine below. None of the other sites have this. Why ? So there is no need for DFSstats at SportDraftr.

I have been eagerly awaiting late swap feature. Indeed launch and stop teasing us. They might as well wait for GameWeek 26 as it is followed up Champions league knock out midweek games. That looks good time to go live.

That makes it a total of eight premier league clubs making a partnership with DFS sites. Wonder what the fans will make of it. DFS still a niche.

Mondo - West Ham, Man City, Tottenham and Chelsea.

Oulala - Leicester City

Draft Kings - Arsenal, Liverpool and Watford
