Would anyone be interested in joining a league like this with a buy in of $170 (or $85) which would work out as $10 (or $5) per game week. Most of the below is just copy and pasted from the above thread...

I would run it exactly like the above thread, but with different payouts depending on amount of entries. You can also see the spreadsheet used on the thread to see how it's all set out.

This will be ran on DraftKings.

All scoring will be done via a google document and shared with the league and updated weekly.

In the event no line up is submitted at the time of the weeks first game (of players we choose from) you will receive 95% of the lowest score that week. Therefore it will not eliminate you from the season total, which playoff berths are awarded on but it does eliminate you from winning that week’s high score. I am league manager not babysitter; if you join I assume you plan to join each week!

Payments will be received on PayPal only and will payout weekly via PayPal as well. If you are reserving a spot please send via gift to Friends and Family on PayPal. And for the love of god please do not put any text in the notes as they will lock accounts if it related to gambling.

I'm not sure on the fees as I have a UK £ account, but I think it would have fees to send/receive in $. So the only thing we can do is if you pay the fees when sending to me and then when I send out the payments each week/at the end of the season, the fees will have to come out of the payout, as it could cost me a lot to pay fees on them all.

Seems like a fun way to do season long. No injuries to worry about, not locked into the same team each week. Also you have the opportunity to still win money the last 3 weeks even if you didn't make playoffs. So it keeps you interested all year long.

I ran a $25 season long league last season with prompt payouts and I am running a $25 and $50 league this season.

Just seeing how much interest there is at the moment and by all means if anyone else more reputable wants to take over and run this then feel free.

Count me in. $170 is much more reasonable than $1700.

I'm not sure on the fees still, but I have a $ account on PayPal so people can send me the funds in $ and put it down as sending to friends without any fees, not 100% sure.
