$100 pro league on yahoo, I had pick 4. Only the 2nd draft I've done in like a decade. I screwed up the Winston pick-I liked him, but there was still a bunch of good QBs left-I got sniped on Powell and I didn't have anyone else lined up, if I didn't make a pick it would've auto drafted edelman. I'm going to try to trade a receiver for a back. I'm just going to stream defenses too, that's why I too buffalo's lol
Your team still looks pretty good to me.

3 did the best imo.

Meh. Out of the 10 hole. Long wait between picks and tough to watch all of the guys you want disappear before they come back around. I hate RBs this year but think Freeman has value. Almost went Evans/AJ Green 1/2 instead. Hate the Abdullah pick and really wanted Powell but got sniped. I was happy with my patience on waiting for QB. Would have waited on TE too but at that point Reed looked like the best value to me.

Coulda went better and coulda gone worse. It looks like there were a fair number of morons in the draft but the guy who went DEF/K in rounds 9/10 will likely win.

4 pt TD QB
no PPR
14 teams
1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 FLEX 1 D 1 K

Not much depth in this format. WR were going too fast imo so had to make some risky picks when the value was there, have a high variance team as a result. Hate the drop off from bell to the next best RB

I'm team 4, team 10 did best imo. Team 3 switched to autodraft at some point, whats the worst than can happen...

Just finished my second (and last) YPL. Standard QB/2RB/3WR/TE/DEF/K.

I was in the 4 spot. I took Julio but I think any of the 4 or 5 picks after Johnson/Bell/Brown are a toss up for value. I thought the draft went okay and I was getting what I expected and wanted. Once again lots of fools taking D's and K's early.

Yahoo grader hated it and gave me a D. They could be right These things come down to a lot of luck and often the oddest looking teams do real well.

The Sanders and Winston picks seem pretty bad, but other than that it went ok. If you picked one of the 3 rb's that went next with the Sanders pick and Gillislee or Abdullah instead of the Winston pick, then I'd like it a lot more.

Yeah I woulda started AJG/Evans for sure, but Devonta isn't a terrible pick or anything. Starting WR heavy early in YPL's is usually the correct strat though imo.

Like taking Reed where you got him for sure.

Would have prob picked Luck over Winston, especially since it'll be super easy to find a good qb or stream to fill in for however many weeks in a 10 team league, but I get just avoiding Luck altogether.

Not big on the Garcon/Doyle picks but whatevs.

Solid work.

Yikes...I don't like any of your picks except the Zeke pick and the Reed pick. 14 teamers are tough though.

The autodrafting team picked Victor Bolden Jr? I have no idea who that even is lol.

I like Gronk over Cooks but whatevs, def would've taken Demaryius over Crabtree in 5 though. I have a bunch of WR's that weren't picked yet ranked ahead of Crabtree.

I'm not as high as most on Crowell but that seems like great value where you got him.

Big fan of Eifert in 9, though don't think Woodhead is worth much in this setup. Prob would've went Derrick Henry there. Maclin in 12 was great value too.

If it wasn't for the Crabtree pick I think this woulda been really good. Still turned out solid.

In every mock I did Gronk fell to round 3 but not here but I was hoping. I like Crabtree because he has been good for me in past seasons and I already had Demarius in the draft I did before this one. Crabtree gets the endzone looks and has good chemistry with Carr but I get less faith in draft rankings each year. I basically want guys I want to root for

I think this is a tough year for RBs and Crowell just seemed like value at that particular spot. I'm not all that high on him myself. Next week I do my PPR drafts where I don't mind RBs because I can load up on pass catchers who get overlooked.

I honestly believe an autodrafter has as good a chance as anyone.

Was supposed to be anquan but clicky draft doesn't have him for some reason.

Was unhappy with freeman but couldn't really see any better picks at 4. Wanted Rodgers/Zeke at 2/3 but thought Rodgers was more likely to last. Not excited about Brady but w/e maybe he'll continue being a God

Anyone half decent is gone by round 4/5 with 14 teams, so was willing to go replacement level at wr. Lots of other teams are playing 5-10 touch guys at rb and 2 reception guys at te.

I would think that taking someone like zeke in a 14 team league would be a huge edge. granted, you might have little equity in weeks he's suspended, you're going to have a massive edge in weeks he plays, which is still the majority of weeks. You're obv weak at WR but you'll dominate most RB/QB match ups

Prob cuz Anquan retired

Antonio Brown is a much better pick than Freeman imo. If you feel like you have to go RB for some reason I prefer McCoy, but I understand not wanting to go near the Bills O. There is no reason you have to go RB there though, even though your setup devalues WR a bit.

Not sure why anyone wants Rodgers or Brady at their price this year given how long you can wait and still get a good qb...seems like kind of a waste of a 3rd round pick to me.

It for sure seems to get real thin real quick, but that seems like more reason to avoid going QB early to me since it is such a deep position and you only have to start one.

Not high on Sanders? I didn't love the pick but don't hate it. Would like it more if I didn't also have Thomas.

Agree with Abdullah, I saw his name still available right after I took Winston :/

I think I'm right near the consensus on Sanders and that's just about the right spot for him to go (though I do have Diggs, who you got 3 rounds later, ahead of him), but already having 3 WRs, one of which is DT, and given the rbs left on the board and your lack of a RB2, I think you have to go RB there unless the WR value is ridiculous.

I agree Brady was a mistake. Was planning on targeting someone in the Philip rivers range but felt that third round was good value for a top qb. In reality should have picked a flex rb.

I'm comfortable avoiding brown. It's not just that wrs are devalued and freeman will outscore brown, but brown's replacement value is higher as well. I simulated this extensively and in this format determined brown should only go around pick 9

8-team draft with some pretty fishy players. Standard scoring NFL.com league.

A few loltastic highlights:

David Johnson not taken till #3
OBJ not taken until Rd. 2 (10)
AP taken at Rd. 2 (16)
Brees taken at Rd. 3 (18)
Houston D taken at Rd. 5 (40)
Kickers taken in the 8th
2 defenses on same team...

Who do you like best?

So just finished up my auction keeper league, with 12 teams. Standard scoring. $200 budget. Keepers are up to 3 years with no penalty to keep. 6pt QB TDs.

QB
Winston (keeper)
Wentz

RB
Bell
Jstew
Duke Johnson
Burkhead
Jamaal Williams
James Conner

WR
Amari (keeper)
Michael Thomas(keeper)
Rishard Mathews
Tyrell Williams

TE
Rudolph

DEF-Cardinals. No K taken.

We get $200 for the WW. I paid way toi much for Bell (160) and I know RB is thin but overall i like my team. Shooting for Golladay and another WR on waivers and keeping an empty Bench or another TE.

I think I hate this team. Much riskier than most teams I draft and did things I almost never do, like take an early round QB. This was alive in person draft so some picks were just absurd.
12 teams, PPR, 6 pt pass TDs. QB/2RB/2WR/TE/flex
I had #8 pick. (Available guys I considered taking there)

1. Mike Evans
2. Michael Thomas (Gronk, Howard)
3. Kareem Hunt (Hyde, Hopkins, Powell)
4. Drew Brees (Keenan)
5. Martavis Bryant (Tyreke Hill, Woodhead, Tate)
6. Ameer Abdullah (Gore, Eifert, Decker)
7. Devante Parker (Garcon, Tevin Coleman, Ingram)
8. Terrance West (Henry, Rawls)
9. James White (Stewart)
10. Darren McFadden
11. Tedd Ginn
12. CJ Prosise
13. Vance McDonald
14. Giants D
15. K

QB - Brees
RB - Hunt/Abdullah
WR - Evans/Michael Thomas
TE - V.McDonald
FLX - M.Bryant
BENCH - D.Parker, West, McFadden, J.White, Ginn, Prosise

Is there any way my RB's can not suck enough to be a playoff contender?
