My draft in a standard scoring 10 man. I'm pretty pleased since I got who I wanted basically at each spot. The NFL rating system hates it, and thinks I will lose every game. I see it as low on superstar power, high on talent and upside.
I drafted from the 8 spot. All the usual suspects were gone before my first pick.

1) Melvin Gordon RB
2) Michael Thomas WR
3) Kareem Hunt RB
4) Amari Cooper WR
5) Dalvin Cook RB
6) Jordan Reed TE
7) Ameer Abdullah RB
8) Martavis Bryant WR
9) Kelvin Benjamin WR
10) Adrian Peterson RB
11) Corey Davis WR
12) Kirk Cousins QB
13) David Carr QB
14) Cardinals DST
15 Blair Walsh K

Any obvious blunders? (According to the rating system, there's several. I don't put too much into that though.)

I am not a big fan of Gordon, but you did really well in rounds 6-11, IMO.

.25 PPR. Got autofdrafted once in the fifth round because of yahoo's software being horrendous, but I think I made out alright.

Rex Ryan's Feet

Did my final draft last night. I thought I started out okay and faltered in the later rounds. I was in the 8 spot. This is a challenging league with very high scoring and lots of players starting. Full PPR with 6 pt passing TDs.

2 QB (6 pt TD)
2 RB
3 WR
1 TE
2 Flex (T/W/R)
1 Def
1 K
5 Bench

With 2 QBs and 2 Flex in addition to the 3 WR/2 RB format those later picks will be starting or at least playing a lot. My plan to wait as long as possible was okay and am happy enough with Rivers/Palmer/Smith. Olsen was maybe a mistake? Bilal Powell was a reach but I really wanted him in this format and was already sniped on a few. Hoping Henry has more play time and that my pass catching RBs catch a lot of passes. Went safe on mediocre late round WRs who I think are safe floor guys with decent target rates. Freeman and my big 3 WRs need to crush for me to do well here.

Had my biggest league draft last night. Live draft. Right before the draft started they took a vote to add a Flex spot in place of a kicker so quickly decided to go with BPA for the first 4 picks and it ended up being all WR. The consequence is very poor RB depth but grabbed some studs at WR if their ****ty QBs can be at least halfway competent. 0.5PPR keeper league. My keeper was Kelce in the 6th

QB - Phillip Rivers
RB - Terrance West
RB - Matt Forte
WR - Antonio Brown
WR - Demaryius Thomas
TE - Travis Kelce
FLX - Deandre Hopkins
FLX - Allen Robinson
D/ST - Kansas City Chiefs
----
BN - Randall Cobb WR
BN - Rex Burkhead RB
BN - Andrew Luck QB
BN - Latavius Murray RB
BN - Kenny Stills WR
BN - Marlon Mack RB
BN - Wayne Gallman RB (homer pick as a keeper flyer. Cutting him tomorrow AM)

Luck, Mack, and Gallman are potential keepers. Was banking on taking McFadden but the guy right before me took him in round 8.

Anyone else done essentially a 0RB strategy? Any advice on how to manage it throughout the season? I guess blow your FAAB budget on the first guy who emerges as a clear starting RB after injury?

Given this format, team 1 crushed IMO.
QBs are so much more valuable and TE should be an afterthought.

I had a similar result. 12 team 3WR/2RB/1 flex, full PPR. I am usually heavily invested in RB so going QB before any RB is completely strange for me.

1. (8) Jordy Nelson (GB - WR)
2. (17) Dez Bryant (Dal - WR)
3. (32) Terrelle Pryor Sr. (Was - WR)
4. (41) Aaron Rodgers (GB - QB)
5. (56) C.J. Anderson (Den - RB)
6. (65) Ameer Abdullah (Det - RB)
7. (80) Adrian Peterson (NO - RB)
8. (89) Darren McFadden (Dal - RB)
9. (104) Martellus Bennett (GB - TE)
10. (113) Jamaal Williams (GB - RB)
11. (128) Cooper Kupp (LAR - WR)
12. (137) Kenny Stills (Mia - WR)
13. (152) Shane Vereen (NYG - RB)
14. (161) Breshad Perriman (Bal - WR)
15. (176) Chris Conley (KC - WR)
16. (185) Jalen Richard (Oak - RB)

I figured I should win WR/QB, so went with high floor guys at RB (given what was left). Awful lot of GB exposure

You need those former WR1's to become WR1's again. If a couple of then do, you'll make up for those RB's. But if not, gonna miss the playoffs Id think.

Who did you take Nelson over?

Anyway getting Godgers in the 4th was huge, rest is tough to say without seeing who else was there. But seems competitive for sure.

Thanks for the feedback. It's also 12 team league where only 1st 3 places make playoffs and 4th is total point so sort of went boom just for the upside.

The main question marks in hindsight were Dalvin Cook over Demaryius and CJ Anderson over Hopkins. They both went right after. I didn't really want any part of CJ and while I rate Dalvin he's still an unknown

Agree on TE sorta but not QB. Good WRs seem to be the money spot. Since you have those 2 flex spots you have to start more guys than typical. I feel my biggest mistake was Olsen instead of someone like Jeffery/Crabtree/Fitzgerald. Taking QBs early in this league is typically death. Last year I rolled with Stafford/Wentz and won it.

Took him over Evans, Green and M. Thomas (gordon, howard, murray RBs).

I like him more than those guys.

I like Evans way more than Jordy. I like Jordy the least of those 4 but the rest are close. Think Evans is a stud

Of course Evans is a stud. Jordy is too.

Last year Evans was targetted a crazy amount and I think it regresses a little. Jordy last year was first year back from an injury and he basiclaly tied Evans for 2nd in this format. He still has Rodgers. They still can't run much.

I can see Evans taking a small step back if Winston finds himself some more to throw too, and I don't see it as much from Jordy.

Jordy Nelson his last two healthy seasons was 2nd and 2nd in FF points.

I like Jordy more, but it is pretty close.

I think he is saying that I am wrong, for liking Jordy more.

I'm kind of glad I didn't have to choose between him and Odell, because I would have probably taken Jordy there as well.

Any time you can take a 24 year old stud wideout over a 32 year old stud wideout, you do it EVERY TIME.

You don't hesitate, you just do it. It's always a mistake to draft the older guy in a contact sport. Their bodies just don't hold up well with age. And Nelson's in particular.

Half of being a receiver is having a QB so Rodgers being so much better than Winston adds too much.

I would do a friendly ($20? $50?) season long bet that Jordy Nelson beats Mike Evans in PPR weeks 1-15? (In case GB has nothing to play for the last 2 weeks)
