Up 3 in ESPN league. I have Jets D going tomorrow, he is done. I want to sit them out and play it douchey safe but not sure if they're is a penalty for not starting a D or something weird like that, anyone know?

no penalty. its just like if you played someone during their bye week.

im up 4 in a league and thinking about benching the jets defense. but to get -4 the jets would have to give up 28+ pts and not have any sacks, turns, etc, etc.

its hard to leave points on the bench just in case something comes to tiebreakers for playoffs and it goes to total points. but i dont think anyone would have a problem if you did to secure the win. hell, who saw the dolphins put up like 40+ vs the pats last year? ya never know.

What do you guys think of this?

I am down 84-66 and I have Jets D and Ronnie Brown going tonight.

Because of this situation, do I pick up Miami's D and play them over the Jets? Or do I just leave it as is?

defenses can still get points after allowing scores. id leave them in.

Did you do it? I know they got minus 4 in one league I am in.
