I've always felt that Wes was probably diddled a bit as a kid, explains the constant web-rage he has. But I don't see that in you.

Btw Rawrs is a good commish in any league I've been in, what's the problem even?

Never diddled as a kid . Kinda wish I had a hot female teacher molest me as a teen.

For the record the texts I didn't answer last night were sirrawrs wanting to fly to ct and blow me.

I figured ignoring them was the play

Wes is a r-tard and dropped the wrong player on an add/drop. I fixed it since he contacted me ~immediately. Seems pretty standard.

I can't imagine any team signing rice right now. Unless they had an extra 10 million to blow on PR

Mike Vick says hello. Josh Brent says what's up. Big Rape just wants to meet you.

Someone will give him a chance at some point. Doubt this season though.

Vick went to prison, brent went to rehab, and Ben was only suspended 4 games.

The NFL also didn't start huge "no more" campaigns after any of them. The whole ray rice thing - how the NFL handled it as well as what he did - is different than anything else.

I bet someone signs him next year, or at the most, the raiders sign him

That's kinda how I feel. I doubt a team is gonna sign him this year. I only grabbed him in one league because my RB2 decision is like Bryce/Helu/Johnson

But they all did things most people think or are immoral and against the law.

I own a small dog, he's my baby boy, yet, I had vick on a couple teams randomly the past few years.

How many of us drink and drive or have done it?

I don't condone what rice, vick, brent, etc have done. People make life altering mistakes all the time (and deserve the punishment or worse), but if they help me win at fantasy football, I'm picking them up.

Oddly enough, my fav two teams are the packers and ravens. Lol me.

This isn't about you and how you will happily sell your soul for a fantasy football win. It's about a team making a decision that could cost them and the NFL tens of millions of dollars.

The NFL has made huge strides with female fans of late. Letting ray rice get off so easy could potentially piss all that away

Allowing Rice to play opens to door, imo, slightly more for AP to play this season as well which NFL seems content to not allow to happen. I think Rice is done for the year. And hypothetically speaking, even if he does play this season what kind of value he has given [for fantasy] he's been out to the league for 13 weeks?

I move on and roll the dice on other RBs

Now that I got AP in all the spots I wanted him, I'll post.

I think AP is looking at 50% chance of playing week 15 or week 16, and the Vikings injuries are making that a bit more likely too. That Rice appeal although not identical, opens doors for AP. I don't think they can really apply retroactive rules to AP since his offence happened way before they decided to start imposing fairly arbitrary bans, and if they're really going to route of a neutral arbitrator in the appeal, I think he's going to win that. He'd still have to somehow convince the coaching staff to get him meaningful touches by week 15 or 16 to be useful for our purposes, but I think anyone with a first round playoff bye and a deep enough bench could gamble on that. I did that with two teams in that exact position. I'm hoping I know the outcome by say Saturday next week, and could drop him for good should his Dec 2nd appeal not pan out. Seems fairly low risk. I dropped Russel Wilson and Cecil Shorts to stash him on both teams, not a big stretch.

What does what you would do in fantasy football have to do whether or not a team would sign rice? Do you think NFL franchises make decisions based on what would make the most fantasy sense for people?

I think RB injuries will still have a lot of say in what happens to Rice. There are a few teams with deep playoff equity that would probably snap sign him if a playoff game depended on it. I think the Falcons would be an SJax injury away for example.

I just don't think there's a team out there, even with playoff aspirations, that wants to deal with the PR mess that signing him right now would come with. Any team that signs him will have to deal with protests and huge amounts of backlash

I agree I really don't see a team picking him up now, but I still have no issue with dropping a RB5/WR6 type player for him.

I think the amount of guys who have done way worse is kind of proof to the contrary. But I guess we'll find out.

Saints and Colts amongst 4 teams "interested in Rice" according to Schefter. Colts aren't that surprising since their top RBs are trich/Herron. Saints pretty shocking since they have like 16 RBs that get a touch every game.
