who did you bench marshall for?

he has been aids this year but that must be a great team. i have one team where i have to bench kelvin every week from here on out bc dez/d thomas/gordon now (12 teamer too). prob not gonna make the playoffs unfortunately

The two teams I have Calvin on are already eliminated, which is really what makes owning him hurt the most since I knew this would happen and no one would trade for him 4 weeks ago

On Divisions:

I generally agree that they suck, however there are exceptions.

The league I commish is a 12 team league with 3 divisions. The group of owners is eclectic with 4 on the East Coast, 4 that all went to high school together, and 4 that work together in Reno. We make a schedule where you play your division rivals in weeks 1-3 and then again in weeks 11-13 and it makes for great smack talk and competition. The only real problem with this schedule is that you end up not playing one of the non-division teams each year. Division record is the tiebreaker to win the division only, all the wild cards are by total points.

12-teams, $50 league

current payout structure is:
$150 reg. season winner
$400 playoff winner
$50 playoff runner-up

6 teams make playoffs, 1/2 get bye. proposed change that I think is kind of neat, but minimizes variance, also winnings.

All playoff teams get money back. 6 non-playoff teams all pay winner, therefore $300.

Would create awesome playoff battles at the end, essentially for $50.

If we go this route, I want to suggest, 7th pays $60, 8th $70, 9th $80, 10-11, $90, 12 $100.

Do we really think any team is going to pick him up this year? When the Eagles signed Vick it was a big PR issue and he had served time and was far removed from the incident. I can just imagine the backlash for anyone that picks him up.

Also with the NFL running its no more campaign I can see them making a back door demand that no one pick him up

i mean i have a league where i've got a useless bench player, and another league where we have a 10 person bench.

in the playoffs in both, and just adding him for the #YOLO factor. it also doesn't really hurt me to drop the player i dropped in either.

but yeah, its purely YOLO. i doubt anybody picks him up this year.
