It would be ridiculous to have to drop a first round pick to save a first round pick. We are all smart enough to come up with rules that will save the WW and prevent that from happening.

The thing is this isn't a problem for teams that don't have multiply injuries to high value players. It hurts a team enough that they have those injuries but to then pile on and make them drop a current first round pick is silly.
