I wouldn't want to face that with a season on the line. He wins and he's 6-6, with a huge coin flip week 13 against the walkingdead. If he gets in, I also wouldn't want to be the guy who has to draw him in the playoffs. Want a bye badly for that.

TBH though I feel like the value of a #1 goes down as the year goes on. It becomes more unlikely that somebody is going to surface the longer the year goes on.

edit - And since I'm in must-win mode, I think even using a #1 on a one-week flex play is +EV for me.

Yeah I agree having some options on the WW is nice. That being said I have 4 people out on IR or for an extended period of time that I can't drop and 1 rookie RB who isn't playing that I would be ******ed to drop. So essentially I'm working with a 15 player bench.

Making teams drop players they are actually playing on a regular basis to field a full roster seems kind of rough. If we are going to do that at least make them monetary fines and not loss of draft picks. I could see a scenario where a team incurs enough injuries that they are forced to make a choice of dropping a player they drafted in the first round this year so they don't lose a first round draft pick next year.
