Why do people keep saying super shallow benches? I don't find them shallow. I have 3 QB's and 2 D's, still don't find them shallow. They're the same size for everyone, granted I didn't lose anyone for the year, but I have had 2-3 guys hurt at once. I mean when Rodgers went down Boykins and James Jones basically became "injured" to me, I can't start them. No big deal, bench is plenty big.

They are very shallow for dynasty leagues. Wait to you have 3 players out for the year, you have a rookie you just drafted that isn't up to speed yet, and you have 5 people out on a bye. Wait it's going to happen to you.

Toe mentioned adding 1 spot a year for 5 years and NDfan freaked out. SirRaws mentioned adding an IR spot or a couple more roster spots and NDfan freaked out again. It's stupid because if the league votes against it fine but it's not possible for everybody to get their way on every single issue.

To think we are not going to have a few issues like this every year is silly to. Everybody should just calm down this isn't some huge buy-in league where our livelihood is in the balance. Nothing to freak out about. If it doesn't work out my way I'm going to play according to the rules that the league comes up with. No biggie.

Anyway we can vote for any sort of rule stuff in the offseason, or bench spots. Don't see what the issue is once the season is over. Obviously changes that improve the league are always welcome, and worth looking at.

My suggestion (in the event that an owner doesn't have a player to start for certain positions)
1st offense: fine$$ price tbd by league vote
2nd offense: Loss of 1st rd draft pick. if that pick has been traded then the next years 1st rd pick is lost.
3rd offense: Loss of all remaining draft picks
4th offense: Kicked out

just got home from work so i didnt see the post, why do i feel like i missed pure gold

+1 i really think 2 bench spots and 1 ir is enough to where it wont absolutely drain the waiver wire. my other dynasty league i play in we have 5 more bench spots + 2 ir spots, and the waiver is just absolutely dead so it kinda sucks.

i think people are using the word tanking for lack of a better word off the top of our head. there is probably better lines to take if your going to "tank" so to speak.
if people want to do what han did under the impression that we cant do nothing until the end of the year so be it, but it seems pretty shady to do that considering now everyone knows how people feel about the situation.
i guess things like this are going to come up over the first 2 or 3 years till we get everything settled ect...

Kind of curious what sort of potential Boykin may end up having in Dynasty. He looked sort of studish this week. Hope Godgers is back for playoffs.

I kind of doubt Cobb will come back this year but if he does I don't see Boykin getting the targets he needs for you to be able to start him anymore.

On a side note if Cobb and Godgers came back for the playoffs that would almost make up for Blackmon ****ting on me.

If teams are permitted to not play full rosters this year, then teams rebuilding in future years should be allowed to do the same.

I dropped Wayne because I had a rush of injuries, combined with bye weeks, that left without a full roster if I did not. Now you pick him up to stash and don't field a full lineup ? C'MON MAN

I can say the same about when I had to drop the SF D/ST and you picked them up.
