Latavious was on my radar.

Was likely taking Geno had I not needed to focus on RBs. Kerley is nice.

Kerley should be able to do good with someone not-terribad throwing to him

now that were coming to the end of the draft can we decide on what were going to do about the draft order in the future?

Is there more then one way to do it?

Worst team gets first pick in 1st, 2nd, 3rd round.

If we ever introduce IDP's that should be a snake draft though.

Again, I vote that the consolation winner gets the 1st pick. It would keep things interesting, encourage participation for eliminated teams, and prohibit tanking.

i came up with a few suggestions earlier ITT, i just wanted to give some options to choose from if people wanted to do something different then standard 12-1

EDIT ill probably leave the league if we end up doing individual defense players. i dont follow individual defense players and have 0 desire to start following it.

If we ever did IDP I would suggest this for the first year of IDP

Have the standard rookie/FA draft as normal (No defensive players allowed to be drafted). Then have an IDP draft that is snake style and a randomized order. The next year, defensive players would be included in the rookie/FA draft. That being said, I have never had an interest in IDP leagues.

I vote for rookie draft order just being #12 to #1. #12-#7 are determined by regular season standings. #1 though #6 determined by playoff finishes.

I did a league with IDP's last year and it was a blast. I did have a significant edge against the other teams because they couldn't value them correctly but I know that wouldn't happen in this league. Like I said earlier every team should agree to add them or we should leave them out.

A consolation bracket gives the advantage to the stronger teams though (at least those who don't make the playoffs).

In a lot of FF leagues I've been in, there's usually one team who finishes top 3 in points for, but just runs terrible with matchups (having the 2nd highest score for the week, but facing the top scorer) and finishes like 6-8 and out of the playoffs. So now you have a top 3 team with a good chance to have the #1 pick?

If we did reverse order of standings, then have an issue with people being accusing of tanking, we can change it in future years.

regarding draft order i would like to see something like gm1 9-12 gm2 10-11 gm3 winner of gm1 vs winner of gm2 for the #1 and #2 picks then the losers of gm1 and gm2 play each other for the #3 AND #4

Ya but the flip side to this is a good team losing 2-3 rb's to fluke injuries in a year, and finishing dead last and getting 1st overall. They're not nearly that bad, just unlucky that year.

I'm also up for consolation winner getting 1st, followed by draft lotto for bottom 3-4 as second best idea.

I'm for the consolation bracket for the 1st pick with the two last teams earning byes.

we could also have 7 vs 8, 9 vs 10 and 11 vs 12 for 5th, 3rd and 1st pick, but I prefer the brackets.

No one should be able to snooze through the 2nd half of the season for a 1st pick

1) That team would still have to beat 6 other teams. Even if it was the strongest team and the favorite, that does not mean that it is more likely than not going to beat other teams.

2) In a 16 team league I was in last year, a team got very unlucky and finished in dead last despite being 9th overall in points. He finished 3-10 while 4 other teams were 4-9. Yet, in your scenario, despite having 7 teams worse than him, he would get the #1 overall pick. Isn't that also unfair?

3) A team that gets so ridiculously unlucky that he would finish top 3 in points yet out of the playoffs perhaps deserves an added shot at the #1 pick.

4) Prohibit tanking or lack of interest as previously mentioned.

5) Similar to #4, prohibits trading away solid decent players to playoff teams in exchange for future draft picks and giving up on the season. (this was a huge problem in my nba keeper league)

I think we're probably only 2 votes away from majority on the consolation bracket thing. So far only 1 opposed?

Everybody voting for this consolation winner crap gets 1st pick are going to hate it when you are clearly the worst team in the league and you don't get first pick in the draft.

LOL @ you.

I vote worst team should get the first pick.
