I think 3. But this is why we are doing the pay one year ahead thing. We didnt do that with the last league and that is why everyone believes it failed. When you pay one year ahead you feel obligated to stay.

if people are only planning on playing for 2/3 years, you should probably just back out. playing 2/3 years and leaving is really just a slap in the face to the league in my opinion.

This is also why paying in advance help. IMO, no refunds. If you have to back out, you should forfeit next years fee.

I was gonna suggest that they pay as well, and the payouts just become bigger for that year. A freeroll/smaller fee is fine as long as they still pay the $100 for the year after.

You mean the bigger prizepool one?

The other issue with a freeroll is it almost invites flakes. They get two years for the price of one, and could bail after year 2.

Yeah but typically the person taking over for an owner that quits gets the worst or one of the worst teams. Something would be needed to entice them I would think. Unless there is a Luck level prospect coming out in the rookie draft. If you take this years draft, you'll see there isn't that level player coming out so it doesn't happen all the time. If you guys don't think it will be a problem finding another owner down the road that's willing to take over a bad team then cool. I personally would like to play in this league for a long time if possible.

I think if an owner backs out but finds a replacement for his team, that should be good enough. He should get his buy-in back so long as he doesn't leave the league hanging. If he leaves w/o a replacement, then he doesn't get the buy-in back.

We have 12 people now if people want to start paying on Leaguesafe. We will start the draft as soon as everyone pays atleast $100.

I just need Playground Beatdown and Puzzles emails to send them the Leaguesafe link. Everyone else should have it in their email. Lets get this draft going ASAP.

I can do the random draft order on FFtoolbox.com right now if people want so you will know where your drafting. It automatically sends an email to everyone in the league once I hit the generate the draft order button so there is no cheating.
