Hanster probably needs to chime in here too. I'd be happy to get the 1.12 for Green if I owned him but I value players differently. Either way is fine with me if dan and the league are ok with it.

My proposal

Wolves gets 1.12 (his trade was first)
Hanster gets 1.13
Dan forfeits 2020 1st (the pick is removed, not given to anybody)
We move the league to a site where we don’t have to deal with this draft pick nonsense.

It's not a terrible proposal Rawls but my 3.6 turns into the 3.07? I don't likey........I've missed my guy by one spot several times in this league. Why does the league have to lose value for Dan?

If Dan agrees to trade me T.Y. Hilton then Hanster can have the 1.12.

T.Y. Hilton at 29 is worth roughly the 1.12. Problem solved imo.

Wow lol. I don’t even know what to say. I suppose whatever the league thinks is fair. I’m okay with taking Green back and deal him again (at the time of the deal dans team was in 5th or 7th while Henry was fodder) or what rawls proposed. Commish can decide or put it to a vote.

I do agree with rafiki that u can’t trade something u don’t own.

For 1.01 just looking to get tangible assets that someone actually owns...j/k. I don’t mind moving down a couple of spots.

The draft is in Vegas next year. I think everybody in this league needs to meet in Vegas next year and we can buy tickets and watch the first round of the draft and then we can all get on a cash table and let me take your monies for the next two days. The first 3 league members that win a hand off me gets a free lap dance as well. Lets do this!

I'm going regardless but it would be awesome to meet all you guys. Just thought I'd put that out there.

I feel like dan giving his 2020 1st and maybe also 3rd as punishment is the simplest solution that impacts the fewest people

No other parts have moved and Green didn't play for Dan.

Let's just nuke the trade and we can all make Hanster offers.

I think I agree with this. There’s has to be some punishment for a player trading away a pick he didn’t actually own.

OK just caught up with what is going on. Wow. I think we should either veto the second time Dan traded his pick or Dan give up his first round in 2020 and that is the pick that is in the trade. What are you guys thoughts?

There is never a situation where in-season you can trade a pick 2 drafts out. This would be letting Dan do something nobody will ever be able to do. Doesn't exactly seem like a solution. It's such a snap trade veto.

Those 2 owners can then come up with another trade, they're more than welcome to. But in the NFL, you have spoiled assets in a trade, trade is void.

Look let me put it another way. We need a ruling here that could be used EVERY time this happens. Every time this happens, we can't be thinking of future picks to fix the problem. Every time this happens, we can however just null the trade.

The one thing I'm sure of is you didn't know. As much as you trade, no way you'd keep up. Nobody is saying anything malicious happened. And I'm 99% sure that after we veto the trade, you two can find a very similar deal and make it happen. Can't be that hard.
