Just got to vaca after traveling hell. Caught up on the thread--did some douchenozzle really mess up the spreadsheet?? That's even sadder than a bunch of adults spending weeks on a fantasy football draft.

Btw looking to move up soon. Pm me if you want to move down.

Of source you're make a huge assumption that we're all adults here, or that we're even human. As the adage goes, "in an online draft, nobody knows that you're a douchenozzle dog."

about the loser bracket that was just 1 suggestion i came up with off the top of my head.

suggestion 2 you could do like a final four where 9-12 and 10-11 for the #1 pick loser of the final four chip game would get #2 and then the losers of the 1st game would play for the 3 and 4 pick. 7-8 could play for the 5th and 6th......people playing the 5th 6th place game could play for the 7th and 8th picks

suggestion 3 you could do something like 11v12 for the number #1/2...9v10 for#3/4 and so fourth.

also "There's a trait inherently placed in a man's balls that's makes it hard for him to tank." waterwolves can you tell me you honestly believe that in pro sports teams dont tank at all?

before you tell me this isnt pro sports i know its not, but its the principle and im sorry, but im just getting to know everyone here so im not giving everyone the benefit of the doubt without visiting all other options first.

"bring it up to the commish and we can deal with it then."
sirrawrs why shouldnt we be discussing things like this before it happens instead of putting all the pressure on 1 guy in the league to come up with something fair and logical?

As much as I hate this anus-licking donkey's ass, he is the best available in a PPR for a win-now team:

Wes Welker

Actually amazed he went so late. Man you barely have space to start him. Someone's gonna be trading some pieces!

He is going to start with roddy and Wallace. Tavon and Crabtree for th future. I like my team, but have no Rb depth and don't pick again for another 40-sine thing picks'. Hey at least I can take a break and enjoy th vacation

Looks like Tavon Austin could give you some tough decisions though. He seems legit to me. I passed on Crabtree only after looking at the data on output after that injury. Lots of guys comeback the same, lots don't. Made me a bit gun shy.

I hear ya. Had only a few minutes and made a mistake there. I should have gone with desean or welker and (undrafted). Wtvr, hope Crabtree comes back healthy!!

I received no pm, I also pm'd you saying to pm me giving the chance to top any offer. No big deal, just thought it was lol decision making on your part. You clearly had huge leverage here and could have maximized it.

to whomever tuned into watch the ufc fights last night. that was an epic come back by travis browne a lot of heart to take the beating he did and the illegal knee and come out victorious. another reason why i dislike alistair overeem, guy has 0 respect for his opponents as fighters. you think he would have learned his lesson when bigfoot took him out, but no he felt like he could stalk browne flat footed and just keep taking his kicks. well we all know the end results of that hats off to sonnen finishing shogun. even better rant on the mic!

I prefer to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. Some of you I've played with before and know to be champs in the context of a redraft league. Also assume that everyone else will behave like champs. But this is a long haul dynasty league.

It would suck if a team purposely tanked but I have never heard of that happening outside of shadier public leagues. I think it's far more likely that a team would appear to be tanking and be falsely accused, causing bad feelings all throughout (based on maybe starting players on bye weeks or injuries because of limited roster spots - players that they fully intend to keep in the future)

Fully agree with what Sterfry says on planning beforehand. Why not make the rules ahead of time for this potential scenario before having to do something knee jerk towards the end of the season.

Am not completely opposed to a toilet bowl tournament that Sterfry suggests, but it sounds like more maintenance on the commissioner to set up and track (yahoo doesn't do that automatically does it?)

Maybe I am oversimplifying but wouldn't it just be easier to look at the potential points from the teams that didn't make the playoffs. Then the one with the lowest potential points gets first pick and so on. The playoff teams are determined by their actual position. This way there's no benefit for tanking unless a team is willing to trash their whole roster.

Thoughts?

Um, ok, first, nowhere did I say to put pressure on one guy. I said bring it up to him. You know, with him being the commissioner, I would think that any issue you might have should be brought up to him.

The reason I don't really care to discuss it before it could happen is because hundreds of things could happen. That doesn't mean we need to come up with a solution for a bunch of hypothetical problems.
