IR spot was originally conceived to balance out in-season injuries. people want it to be more. but it was never intended as a way to carry 21 through cuts. make your cuts, IR your guy, and grab FA's. we all suffer the same fate. There probably isn't a single team without a guy set to out/pup/ir. we all have them.

maybe this is to simple of a solution but why not make the roster size 21 and get rid of the IR spot? Then everyone is happy lol

If you want to prevent people using the IR to stash players, then the IR spot should go away once the regular season ends. The way it's setup now doesn't really prevent owners from taking advantage of it.

Do I need to change the waiver period to end before the KC/NE game? Also this will matter since there are Thursday games every week. So waiver period should end on Wednesday night or Thursday morning?

I don't remember it being discussed as an in-season only IR. It's an IR spot and as soon as the player is eligible to return we have to drop a player to add him to our team was all i remember reading.

wolves if you think about it, no nfl team puts players on IR in the off-season. as such managing your fantasy team, you should want to mimic this. Imho as Rawls said, going forward we should be cutting to 20 after the playoffs are over.

wolves, in the other new dynasty league, we all drafted for our roster spots, but there was nothing about "getting IR spots". ie - i drafted kenneth dixon, but i didnt get to draft 21 players just cause he was "gonna be on IR" eventually

MM you drafted Dixon knowing he was out. I didnt snag ware after he was hurt to put him on IR. He was already on my team when he was injuried. So im dropping a player for a couple hours that potentially i dont want to drop that ive shown interest in on a technicality? It's a bad practice.

In other news I'm still trying to win now and I'm favored to lose by 20 pts this week? This is going to go badly. Kuta prop may be the only thing that makes this season worth following.

why should you get special treatment just because you got unlucky?

again, if we finished the draft a week earlier (which is well within the realm of possibility) then ware isnt technically listed on IR and its not even an argument. so why are you making things more complicated than they need to be...oh wait i answered my own question
