Im dropping to 20 + Ware on IR. If you guys want to make some silly rule where i have to drop a player and put Ware on IR before picking up a player than just drop Dwayne Washington but its silly and you guys are ******ed for even suggesting it.

I'm not saying which way it's been done in the past, because I don't remember it coming up, but by this logic, we should never be allowed to have 20 + IR since the roster max is 20.

Edit - My cuts were made to go to 20 + IR, but I will send another cut to TR to be safe.

I am cutting down to 20 active players. Its ******ed to not have an IR spot for 4 days or whatever the **** it is when we in fact havev an IR spot. Im not stashing Ware to play this season he's been ****ing put on IR. So yes not having an IR spot for some trivial time frame is in fact ******ed.

This all the way. You guys are saying that we have an IR spot for the entire year except a two day span after the draft. Doesn't seem logical.

Hey lets add an IR spot guys since there's so many injuries and our rosters are a little short but not for the first week of the season. Having an IR spot the first week of the SEASON IS MADNESS MAN! ****ING MADNESS!

Guys we have literally always cut to 20. This is difficult for everyone not just you. The goal of the IR spot is if someone on your team is hurt during the year, you can stash. It's not made to carry more guys through the offseason.

Believe me this affects me right now with Meredith. And I'll still cut to 20.

You're literally going to be able to add a player a day later rafiki. The IR spot is meant for players that get put on ir. Where in this thread does it say the IR spot we added can't be used during the off-season? Show me that. Im not carrying more than 20 active players to start the season. My roster is completely legal.

I literally have no idea what you're talkibg about. If i or anybody else in this league has a player eligible for an IR spot and we have a free IR spot we should be able to use the IR spot. I didnt have a player eligible for IR that year so i didnt use that spot. Seems pretty essy to understand. What am i missing?

Yeah we didn't have an IR spot for the first few years. When we added that spot i didnt know there was a 2 day period where no players are allowed to be put on IR.

But now imho the 20 player rule is more important than ever. Yahoo technically allows an "out" player like an OBJ on IR. We're not going to justify angleshooting to a 21 man roster for an "out" player.

obviously i dont know what yall did in the past (although rafiki quoting those posts helps), but in other dynasty leagues im in, you have a roster size and you cut to it.

if we finished the draft a little over a week ago, then no one would have been designated for IR anyway, so its sort of arbitrary since guys can get hurt at any time.

also the argument of "well it only affects me now, so now we should change something" is definitely the worst argument to make as an adult. pretty good argument to make for a pre schooler though.

I'm not angle shooting anything. Ware got hurt while on my team. If we didn't have an IR spot until "after" week one that's news to me.

Is this same rule that made kuta drop a kicker and then pick the same kicker up 8 hours later?

Yeh it is cut to 20. Then once you can place the injured player on IR in yahoo, you can add another player to get your full roster of 20 plus the IR guy.
