Didn't the Ravens also do the same in 2010 or 2011?

Yes. In our first year Kuta and I met in the playoffs and I was down an impossible amount of points (45+?) with Josh McCown left stepping in to play QB for the Bears.

McCown went to throw for 348 yards, 4 td's, and ran for a 5th. I won on a stat correction and eliminated Kuta. That basically started a spiral of shame that has lead to 2 consecutive last place finishes and the sort of antics you see here today. But actually the league would be far worse off without Kuta. His effort and precision to help manage the league does his Japanese heritage proud, and I hope to buy him a beer one day soon.

Wow lol McCown too of all people. That has to still hurt a little. He has to draft McCown this year then. Another starting opportunity on a team that will need to throw a lot. I can see the heroic ending to the sequel of the movie with you two.

Lol after the stat correction, I lost by less than 1 passing yard. Less than .05 points. The stat correction was one additional rushing yard granted to Antonio Brown on a last second lateral-type Stanford band play. Why even correct that?

Rashiki had no idea who McCown even was. Bragged that he had his dynasty QB rookie for many years to come without knowing that McCown was 48 years old at that time.

Drafted my team to be "win now" but never did win (despite winning points) and now am paying for it dearly. Also made some terrible moves along the way along with some terrible luck (which continues, thanks for trading me Edelman btw....)

Oh I also had Brandon Marshall in that game and somehow McCown passed to everyone but Marshall.

What time do I have to pick by? Just want to give sterfry a chance to see our PM or emails to him.

Haha. I remember the Stanford band play that they thought Antonio scored on but he barely stepped out.

Also remember everybody thinking McCown was gonna be so amazing the next year.

Don't know if you knew this but Dom and I were talks about a similar trade involving Hopkins/Edelman but he ended up taking your deal obviously. I felt pretty lucky when I heard about Edelman. Feels like it happens to a couple players every year.

Typically, I would that the opposite approach and just pick. I don't see the point in having a timer and not enforcing it. Seems harsh but it's pretty rude to delay the draft and we even have dead times. There's also the option of PMing your top 2-3 picks to another owner if you're worried you'll be AFK for a while (I know we did this several times in the inaugural draft). If I missed my time I would have no problem with people skipping me.

That being said, since it appears sterfry has been AFK for almost two weeks. I think we should wait and confirm that he's not dead or something. Maybe in the future we should get confirmation from owners that they are aware the draft is starting (just by posting ITT or something).

According to rafiki, Fry had till 2pm (EST I assume) I think our dead time is from 8p-8a right? Do technically you'd have till 10a EST tomorrow.

I'm genuinely concerned for fry's well being since it appears kuta has tried contacting him several different ways and has heard nothing back.

I'm not trying to be a dick, but I don't understand the point in having a timer if we're all just gonna ignore it and wait.
