A lottery system is not going to stop pricks like Kuta from being a prick. Unless it's an even lottery between the non-playoff teams, there will be an advantage to finishing 12th. So Kuta will still be a tanking prick.

Hey sterfry - instead of quitting, how about we team up and start colluding against everybody and split the money 50/50. If we feel like it's in the best interest of our team, nobody can say anything, and if people complain, we can just laugh at them for whining about something in a $100 league. Sound good?

Kuta came up with a good solution. Trade picks, come up with a stiffer punishment for tanking in the future, and let's move on. Hopefully sterfry doesn't quit but if he does we can replace him pretty easily.

Fry, I was a bit curious about Kuta's accusation of you tanking/low score, so I did have a look at your team (since you happen to be one of the more vocal ones against Kuta here).

Week 11 when your draft pick status is very much in play, you start Marlon Brown (who is on IR) instead of dropping a second D. That same week you start a kicker that is legit ranked dead last in the NFL. No single person ever would take him on waivers. I'd understand like a marginal decision, but he'd been the worst for a while now.

You passed on 5-6 really obvious easy spots to upgrade at TE on waivers, and this while you were still in a spot where the playoffs were possible for you. Lot of people with far worse waiver priorities got guys (Tye etc...) that were far better to start than Vernon Davis.

Week 13 rather than use your waiver to get an RB (that was the week several good options came about), you kept your waiver for next year and started Taylor at RB knowing that's 1-2 pts max. Week 13 was the week you could actually make the playoffs, but you decided to play for next year (the way many wood). Do I blame you? Can't say I do. But you didn't play to win, you deliberately stood pat for next year. And 4-5 other dudes in this league have done stuff just like what I've listed, imho it's reasonably common.

So now can your really totally single Kuta out? Kuta is probably the only one to actually admit it. The stuff I listed above is why it's going to be tricky to catch tankers. Should a person with a win and get in scenario use their waiver, even if they know they're 1 and done in the playoffs? I can't call Kuta's tank much more egregious, it's all playing to lose. Fwiw I don't have a great alternative to what's been proposed, I just don't think it's as clear cut as lol Kuta. Also obviously nobody quit, league has mostly been awesome. My only fear is Hanster being such a lock for next year.
