in general it seems like people are fine with them, it seems like people have spoken up to voice their input or given their .02cents on tweaks that can be made to some of the rules etc...i guess i would maybe hold off on doing a final draft of them till a little later so everyone can confirm they've seen them(im not sure if everyone has been following thread in offseason). just so we wont have anyone saying i didnt see them blah blah.

kickers ftw. it brings an element of variance to FF as luck does in poker IMO.

Just catching up as well. Have tried not to think about football following my Broncos crapping the bed in the Superbowl. Hope everyone's having a good start to their year - mines been good but too much travel so far.

Starting to get excited about the draft as well and enjoying the thought of my current 1st overall pick. Any offers?
Am looking at the rookie draft class and it seems pretty deep this year. No worthy RBs in the first but giving serious consideration to Watkins. He could be a star depending on where he goes (hopefully not the raiders).

Like all the rules drafted in the thread and also vote for no kicker - hate those guy and their random points. Nice work on drafting them! Prefer to see things laid out clearly as they are.

What's the final verdict on the draft - looks like the consensus is non-snake (ie I get the first pick at the top of each round is that right?)

Also whats up with the ww? Is that based on the final standings too?

Two points I want to make.

1) We need to vote on waiver rules. This is important. Personally, I agree with Rafiki's suggestion that we do random picks for waivers this year but for the future, waiver spots carry over. Giving the #1 waiver spot to the best team in the league makes little sense.

2) One point that was addressed before last season but ultimately shot down was individual D. I know this is a long shot, but I propose we vote on bringing in Individual Ds. Since it appears that we are eliminating the kicker, we could add 4-6 starting D spots and have around 25 players per team total. It would also make the upcoming draft very interesting.

In all seriousness I actually agree with gs3737. It's going to be hard to keep everyone together in this league if we start changing settings that they didn't initially sign up for.

Did we not propose the voting scheme on the previous page? I'm down for whatever, but say 10/12 is pretty compelling to make a change.

It doesn't matter if we have kickers or not really. They do seem silly but if one team feels like they are just getting raped by losing their kicker we might as well keep them instead of risking losing an owner.
