I can't find the keeper rules in this 31 page thread. Are we keeping players 1/2 of whatever they were drafted this year?

I think we voted that next year would be same round as drafted..Then 1/2 after that

Unless I made a mistake on what the conso bracket should look like or the winners the draft order for the bottom half should be:

1: pitofdispair
2: arian
3: wave
4: backtoballin
5: bahbahmickey
6: dontdoit

This assumes single elimination and in the rounds where two teams lose the lowest score losses.

kay someone explain to me what is screwed up about the conso bracket cause im looking at it and it seems fine...

the people who made the playoffs and then lost did not play any non playoff teams, so thats not an issue....

the non playoff teams played a conso ladder, the only difference is there was no byes and it was a ladder format not a bracket (which i dont think i can set up on espn btw)

anyways, if the majority of people would rather use a different way to decide draft picks then by all means...

we could do total points scored during the conso ladder (ie weeks 14-16, with high pt tital getting first pick and lowest getting 6th)...

sorry if people think this was screwed up somehow but i dont know why we the espn conso setup is not usable?

Actually I was mistaken; the bracket seems fine minus there were no byes. It actually looks fine to me how ESPN has it. So I would have gotten 2nd in the conso bracket, with wave of destruction winning it.

Wow did I run bad this year, most points against by over 100!
1684 against and second most was 1588. My expert trade of AP definitely helped me out too haha

Yea conso bracket looks weird but it works out. Draft order should go:

1. wave (conso winner)
2. hippies (conso runner-up)
3. despair (last place reg season)
4-12. reverse standings

I don't really care either way since I am either the 5th or 6th pick (and I don't really have a preference one over the other), but I thought the 1st through 6th picks were all decided by the post season results of non-playoff teams. It looks like we are doing only the top 2 spots are decided by post season results then 3rd to 6th are based off of regular season results. Is this correct?

kay so officially the keeper votes is for option 3...

this is what were rolling with (can still make small adjustments obv but think we should adopt this since everyone's spoken, voted etc)

**Keepers value increases by 50% each year (with no cost first year)

• Example: Say you luckboxed cam newton as an FA, this year he would cost you an 8th round pick. year 2 would be 4th, year 3 is 2nd and every year after would be a 1st.

-odd picks will rounded up (9-5-3-2-1), no max years on keepers

-at anytime u have two keepers worth the same draft pick value, you would lose the round and the round after it (ie I have 2 keepers worth 4th round picks, I would lose 4th and 5th round picks if I kept both)

-All FA acquisitions that are used as keepers are worth an 8th round draft pick if kept
