Might be different, but for MLB on FD I have way more people join my $25 and above H2h's who have 0-10 wins than the smaller stakes. But it could be misleading since if they put in 25 $1 h2h vs. 1 $25 h2h way more wins. And I have a much higher ROI on the higher stakes than smaller among similar # of matches.

What site has "way more rake" or even just a little more rake at $1 games than $10 games? None that I play.

This is pretty interesting, as you said there could be a number of explanations for it... Do any of the sharks take your games? (maybe you are regarded as decent? so sharks don't feel the need to take your games)

I know nothing about MLB its the one sport I have not played at all.

I wish FD and DK would release numbers like how many of each event type fired... would be quite interesting to see. I really want to see how many of the 10k HU fire every week

Pretty happy with my first non-freeroll foray into DFS. Finished just outside the top 200 in the $100K on StarsDraft and won $30. I guess technically I freerolled since I used a free ticket, but it's a $10 GPP, so I'll count it is not a "real" freeroll.

Entered a few freerolls, but focused the most on my $100K lineup, which turned out to be the only cash. Was happy with the lineup I put together and felt I was really just unlucky variance away from a much bigger cash (was top 100 with Dez, Romo, and Jordan Matthews remaining). Don't feel I really got "lucky" with anyone - I didn't have Mariota or anyone like that.

I clearly won't do as well most of the time, but hey, at least for now I'm in the black.

Speaking of StarsDraft, I just checked my e-mail and they have given people a free ticket into the NFL $100K this weekend to apologize for the website problems on Sunday. Don't know if it's for everyone or just people who were in the $100K, but check your e-mails/accounts. The ticket is added automatically to your account.

Played FD last year. DK feels so much easier to use.

Sooo, looks like Terrance Williams is this weeks week 1's, Davante Adams. Everyone and their brother is gonna be playing him. I would guess it would be best to go contrarian and not to play him in GPP's and hope he busts.

I tend to like playing WR's and RB's who were busts in the previous weeks as public sentiment is to avoid them but in reality they usually bounce back (i.e. for this week: D. Martin, A. Robinson, D. Adams, A.P., G. Olsen etc...)

Personally, I am not completely sold on Twill. Think Witten and Beasley are just as likely to profit from Dez's departure. If I had to pick one of the three I would say Witten. That being said Twill is pretty cheap so should be highly owned.

Playing Witten is prob the best way to fade Williams this week

On DK do I really need to make the same lineup twice if I want to enter it in a Thursday and a Sunday contest (no Thursday players in the lineup)? Or am I missing something obvious?

starsdraft has fantastic promotions for new players, i would recommend them first to new players because of the 3 free tickets they give. really cool idea...

no its 2 different contests with different games, so you can't import a roster without thursday night games

terrance williams is the davante adams of week 2. i would prefer to play beasley i think, or brice butler depending on how fast they incorporate him into the offense. witten will probably have the highest targets though...

I guess this will surprise nobody, but my limited sample showed buy-in stakes didn't really make a difference, in fact the beginner $100 double ups were slightly softer than the beginner $25 games. This is with small fields $100 (11) vs 57 and 90 person $25 tourneys.

Some really bad plays in the $100 double ups actually - ie. Tannehill at QB, Matt Ryan with Roddy White, Tyrod (money savings didn't create a facemelter lineup elsewhere), and in general a few too many "names" [older players who are on the decline]

i think brees is the #1 qb this week so i would play him 100% in cash. i would probably mix my lineups, some with coleman and some with cooks

I mean results oriented tannehill sucked but he seemed like a great play going in

I didn't think Tannehill was a good cash pick but maybe that's wrong.

It's week 1 so hard to say but I projected him to have a big year and liked his matchup.

i don't think tyrod was a bad cash play, i think his floor was higher then people think because of his rushing ability and great matchup

Idk I'm a huge tyrod fan but I think but cash you had to go with Bradford , Rodgers tannehill or maybe 1-2 others . Tyrod was unproven

tyrod was a stone cold lock cash play last week imo. i didn't pivot off him in any lineups.

I played Tyrod in 100% of cash lineups on dk and yahoo and was pleased to see any other qb going against me. If I knew his ownership would be so low I would have played him in all gpps too.
