WW, you can’t start just doing things to lineups when you never made a rule about it. SIU, porter, and bluff all tanked this week, make up a rule, enforce it moving forward and move on.

You guys can replace me if you'd rather. I'm refunding ship and moving on if you don't. I won't fight it if you'd rather. It was a rule that we field a full line up. There just wasn't anything in place. I really don't mind walking away though. Stuff like this doesn't make it worth it really to me.

If WW is leaving at the end of the year I'll stay and take over as commissioner.

Setting eligible lineups is fantasy sports 101. Ship, had you picked up Bortles instead of starting a QB who has been out for a couple weeks, you would have won your match up against a team in playoff contention. So blatant tanking is messing up the outcome of the entire league.

Also, that JerryDraftCriminals vs. WPorter's Team match up from week 8 is some bull****. Starting Geski is one thing but starting two injured WRs isn't cool.

Didn't want to waste a spot on a guy that would have no value to me next year but if it became a rule and had been presented in a respectful way would have been fine with abiding by it.

This is my last post in this thread. Ship you will have co-commish powers at some point today when i can get away from work and set it up. You can then go in and switch your line-up back however you see fit. You'll need to look for that commish button. It's on the top right of the page. This league is not important enough for me to fight over but fielding a full starting lineup is a rule and it's somewhere in the first couple pages of this thread.

If my team happens to win money without anybody running it (lol not happening) disperse that money evenly throughout the league. I don't don't want my $50 buy in for next year back either but half of that needs to go to MM for our most points scored bet. If you don't get it MM pm me and I'll make it right. You shouldn't have trouble finding a replacement owner to pay $75 to take over that team. All the money is in the leaguesafe account. If I can I'll transfer control over that to ship i will. If not i can pay the winners out.

Personally, I think this is a minor situation that got turned up to 100 real quick. ww seemed to be doing what he honestly thought was right to resolve the situation. Clearly he acted too quickly as it wasn't within the existing rules, but I think that can easily be rectified by restoring the teams to what they were.

I can understand why Ship was pissed, I would be too if the commish was screwing with my team.

That said, my vote is to restore teams as they were, keep ww on as commish if he is willing (has done a great job aside from this incident) and then league vote on a rule moving forward for fielding complete teams and implementing anti-tanking fines.

In another 2p2 dynasty we have optimal scoring to determine draft position. It's a 14 team league so would need some adjustments.

1-6 (playoff teams would be determined by playoff finish)

Could have two "pods", one for 10-12, one for 7-9. Highest combined scores during playoff weeks gets the higher pick.

Record wouldn't matter only optimal points scored. If this doesn't make sense I can make a better post later today, baby had me up at 2am.

I trolled and somehow set off a chain of events that has led to the collapse of the league.

I see both Ship and WW's side here. Ship started a QB who was out. I feel like the commish has the power to correct an ineligible lineup in the interest of competitive balance. Especially in cases where the owner is actively trying to lose.

On the other hand, this league has no rule against tanking and Ship isn't the only owner doing this. Furthermore, Ship's roster didn't have a clear player to drop. It's full of players he probably wants in coming years.

Here's my proposed solution for this specific situation: He starts Eli tonight and we all agree not to pick up Jeff Heuerman. Ship can drop Eli for Heureman when he has a healthy QB on his roster again.

Going forward, maybe we expand the number of IR spots to 3 or 4? (Ship has a bunch of injured players). Just a thought, I think it would give us all more flexibility.

Also, there's probably a need for the entire league to have a conversation about how we handle tanking. Right now, it seems we have 4 teams actively tanking, while the rest of of us are competing for playoff spots. That's throwing the competitive balance out of whack and could alter the outcome of the season.

I've been starting my best roster until this week when I realized I was about to get bamboozled so I started the bad news bears and now here we are.

I propose:

Picks 7-12 are determined by playoff finishes
Picks 4-6 and 1-3 are determined by optimal scoring for seeding and then the actual picks by a 3 week playoff amongst the three teams.

The teams with the 3 worst optimal scores would play a 3 week playoff with the team with the highest score, using regular rosters not optimal, getting pick 1. 2nd highest gets 2nd and lowest gets 3rd. Then the same for picks 4-6. This discourages tanking but rewards the worst teams with the highest picks.

I'm fine with staying on and WW staying on if he makes me commissioner, I will leave if he's still commissioner because I don't trust him to be one after this. Fielding a full logical roster is a good rule (ie not starting like Malcolm Brown over Kareem Hunt) and should be in place moving forward. I'm okay just adding Eli for Brown and moving forward Brown can be free game, I don't want special treatment with rosters, not what I was trying to do.
