As for TCT, he told me it was IRL obligations that had him leave and nothing to do with the league.
As far as the to-do list, we can start knocking these off one by one. They are not that complicated, in my opinion:
Dan and I's ruling on the Movie/SIU Lou Williams Issue
First, a big apology for the delay. It's been a crazy few weeks for both dan and I in real life. Didn't mean to come to a conclusion in such a slow manner
Dan and I have deliberated and here's what we are going to rule as the fair solution. As outlined previously. we believe that the correct way to approach this is to calculate the fair market value of Lou Williams to date. We think the FMV to date, rather than the FMV at the time of trade, would be fair because in a hypothetical world where SIU had Lou Williams and could reap his production, he'd have realized all the value Lou has provided to this point. Also worth noting that both parties were negligent in not following through with the trade, so we think the solution should be more compensatory than punitive in nature.
That being said, Lou has undoubtedly been a key contributor this season. He's a top 30 guy rest of season in some publications, but we can't ignore the fact that he's 31 years old and he has never done anything close to this before. Given that he's an immediate contributor but otherwise has had a career of a top 100~ guy, we think the appropriate FMV for Lou Williams is that of a
late 1st round NBA pick..
Movie, if you have something in that area, please go ahead and post so. If not, please work something out with SIU that ends up in a late 1st round NBA pick's valuation.
Thanks all.
