I completely disagree with Hurp giving up his own picks to even out this issue. If anyone should lose picks it should be the team at fault.

Re: tct - I also agree hurp shouldn't lose a pick. Can the picks be like, in between the rounds? Like when they do compensatory picks in real life? And non tradeable. I'm out drInking now so I can't look at the actual mechanics of it but def don't wanna take a pick from hurp

+1 on that idea 100%. Comp picks should be a thing in this league for sure. It could solve a lot of difficult situations like we just found ourselves in.

with regards to the draft picks, i have no problem contributing mine if it'll resolve the issue and we can move on. no issue there.

I'm not sure what this supplementary picks mean. do you mean these are picks in between rounds? like after 4.12 and before 5.01, for example

Yeah, basically it would be pick 3.13. I also think Kaka should get the pick after that (or even the one before it, like 3.13 and 3.14 sort of thing). The loss he took was in NBA, so makes the most sense to recoup him there, not in MLB.

OK, that actually sounds reasonable then. We can award Kaka a compensatory 3.14 pick in the 2018 NBA draft, and movie a 3.13 pick in the 2018 NBA draft since he was the one that traded to pick an ineligible player. then we will enforce the 4 week rule effective immediately (4 weeks from the time of the draft pick or the free agent pick)

because you can only have ten players in your minor league system per sport. there are times when a manager picks a rookie up his AAA may be full and he'll have to choose who to drop from his AAA. This shouldn't be a problem and it takes a few seconds of each manager's time per pick to record. Open to hearing about potential improvements

also, where are we keeping track of all of the trades for draft picks? are those fully reflected in the Draft Picks tab? What about the XXX Rookie Draft tab?? Generally when I do trades for draft picks I just note that on my own tab and specify which trade the trade picks were pertaining to.
