I like ESPN too, but prefer roto in basketball and baseball. Dont think it makes a big deal if two are roto (baseball and basketball) and one is h2h (football)

Just to be completely clear this would be my preferred way of doing each sport
Football-PPR HTH w/ 6 point passing TDs
Basketball-8 cat roto
Baseball-Whatever the standard roto is

And for the draft we should 100% do 3 round flip being that this draft is going to be very top heavy

One rules suggestion: can we do a football-style waivers system (weekly waivers) for all three sports. It's annoying when leagues turn on who jumps on his computer/phone the fastest after a key injury happens or a closer change is announced.

A single waiver wire budget spread out across the 3 sports would make for some really interesting strategic decisions (may be tough to implement in practice though, would need to do waiver wire bidding in google docs rather than in the actual league)

I actually really like that idea. If you started with $300 ($100 in each sport) we could probably keep it sorted. If you go over your 100 in a sport you would just have to pm me and I can adjust money in league your bidding on and take it from another sport

Also.. While we are discussing rules. I am thinking that if you want to trade a future draft pick, you have to put down a $50 deposit toward the next season. Just to make sure teams dont sell out the future then bail

Sounds good. Hoping to start the draft in next couple weeks.. It is going to be like 60 freakin rounds so I am assuming itll take us forever to do in thread.. Want to make sure we have plenty of time to do the draft, start some trading, get a minor league draft in for baseball and be set by the time baseball is starting

Would really prefer h2h overall categories for baseball/basketball. My experience has just been that roto leagues have more drop off and competition dwindles mid season which for baseball is critical. Maybe for this type of league that wouldn't happen because clearly were all super active.

I'm curious for the pros of roto since its been a few years since I've done it. It's not necessarily a dealbreaker for me but I'd like to hear the other side
