He missed the first round pick in NBA too, but got Kevin Knox so that turned out ok. We usually give some extra time when its a first rounder. I will wait with my pick until later tonight and see if he checks in.

It's much harder to assign a pick for MLB than it is for NFL/NBA. There are way too many variables involved.

In years past we just took a prospect ranking guide we were all fine with (MLB, Fangraphs, etc) and just took the highest ranked prospect. Not exact, but if you want exact, show up on time for the draft

I think Fangraphs is fine, also drafting prospects isn't an exact science anyway so i'm fine with an approximation. as dan said, best to show up on time if you want to make your own picks.

Good thing that Othello's waited even though he didn't have to. I would propose that if we don't hear from wporter by end of day today we autopick for wporter and move on in the interest of time.

for any picks beyond the 1st round pick we can just skip them and they can catch up later if they want
