ideally we do reverse of regular season, not counting the playoffs/consolation bracket.

cs3 - thats what i always remembered too, seems like a weird thing to remove all of a sudden on yahoos end.

Right so all you have to do is look at the playoff seeding, and reverse.

It shows the seeds on desktop view. I can post later when I'm at my desk, if needed.

Are you on desktop version or mobile? On desktop, you have to go back to 2017 league home page, then click playoffs.

FYI, for keeper reference. This is the Player, the round they were last kept in, and then what year they were kept in 2017. So using the rules (I'll post below too) you can figure out what a guy costs. So for example -- Player A (10th) 3rd = keeping him in 2018 is his 4th year, so +6 rounds, making him a 4th rd pick.

This is the first year of 4th year guys for a lot, so keep that note in mind:

Hurp Durpington:
Altuve (5th) 3rd
Sano (18th) (2nd)
Bryant (16th) 3rd
Goldy 1 (3rd)
Degrom (22nd) (3rd)

I Raze River
trout 1 (3rd)
rizzo 3 (3rd)
donaldson 2 (3rd)
Myers (17)
syndergaard 21 (2nd)

cs3's Keepers:
Correa 21 (2nd)
Odor 20 (2nd)
Kershaw (1) (2nd)
Dahl (25)
Bregman (26)

movieman's keepers:
Story (13)
Hendricks (14)
Blackmon (22) (3rd)
Springer (10) (3rd)
Machado (5) (3rd)

CharlieKelly
Bryce Harper - 1st (3rd)
Jonathan Villar (25)*
Jake Lamb (26)
Jake Arrieta - 22nd (3rd)
Jon Gray (26)

alekhine8
Nolan Arenado (11)* (3rd)
LeMahieu (16)
Todd Frazier (20th)* (3rd)
Johnny Cueto (9) (3rd)
Xander Bogaerats (10) (2nd)

Cunning Stunts

Nelson Cruz RD 10 (3rd)
Matt Harvey RD 11 (2nd)
Marcus Strorman RD 15 (2nd)
Dustin Pedroia RD 14

danvh
Lindor - 21st (2nd)
Betts - 23 (3rd)
Seager - 19* (2nd)
Chapman (8th)
Yelich (5th)

Keeper rules:
5 keepers kept, at least 1 hitter and 1 pitcher
Keeper cost: The 1st year a player is kept they cost the round they were drafted in.
2nd year: +1 round earlier
3rd year: +3 rounds earlier
4th year: +6 rounds earlier
5th year: +10 rounds earlier
If you do not have the draft pick to keep that player, you may keep that player for +1 earlier round. If you do not have the earlier draft pick, it takes the next earliest round. For example, John Doe is a 6th rder, but you traded your 6th and 5th pick, John Doe costs you a 4th rder.
You may keep a MAX of 2 players per round.

If you trade for a player, his keeper cost is the round he was drafted in.
If you pick up a player from FA who was drafted, his keeper cost is the round he was drafted in.
If you pick up a player from FA who was NOT drafted, his keeper cost is the last drafting round.
A max of 3 FA's who were not drafted may be kept per year.
Keepers can be kept for a max of 5 years

Hey, wanted to clarify the keeper portion of your post:

Altuve (5th) 3rd

means
-Altuve was kept at a 5th round cost last year
-Last year was the third year in which I kept Altuve
-Per the chart, this would be the fourth year i would keep Altuve, therefore add +6 to last year's cost, so it has to be kept at a 1st round cost (the highest it can go)

is this right?

No, you add the years to the original keeper rd, I believe.

Hurp, you have it right. The (# years kept) is to reference how many rounds the player will move up.

Players kept in 2017 still on the roster

DJ LeMahieu (16th round in 2017, unsure 2018)
Nolan Arenado (11th round in 2017, unsure 2018)

Potential keepers for 2018. Sorry I forget the exact rules for 2018 keeper eligibility.

Justin Verlander (2nd)
Justin Upton (3rd)
Gary Sanchez (4th)
Byron Buxton (drafted in 10th by someone else, WW pickup for me)
Brett Gardner (WW pickup)
Justin Smoak (WW pickup)
Ryan Zimmerman (WW pickup)
Patrick Corbin (WW pickup)
This should be all the info about the team.

It's a $50 league on Yahoo, 6x6 with OBP instead of AVG and TB, and with QS, and SV+HLDs, not just SVs
