cs3 or any other yahoo pros - yahoo's saying everyone needs 26 draft slots. any way around that when inputting everything?

also, bluffmynuts - you dont have a 26th rd pick, so im just bumping everyone up a round (23-25) for your keepers.

ok here's how i rectified this:

i took the 3 teams who had fewer than 26 picks (me, leebert, yankeys) and the 3 teams that had extra picks and then gave those 3 the 26 rd picks of the teams with extra picks in draft order.

that make sense?

that also means villain has to have exactly 26 draft slots or its gonna throw it all out of whack

I'm not sure what that means...I'll make it work though. So how many keepers do I keep to have exactly 26 draft slots?

IMO these guys are kinda whatever but I'd like to keep...

Crap sorry, I shouldve mentioned that before trades went down.
Every team has to have the exact same # of picks in order for the draft setup to complete, so whenever teams trade picks, there must be an equal # of picks going to each team.

Roster size would get screwed up if teams have diff # of picks and I guess Yahoos software cant handle it.

as long as you didnt make any trades with picks then you can just keep your 5

at least 1 hitter and 1 pitcher

I am also keeping Michael Brantley in the 22nd. I believe I did trade for a pick. So keeping 4 with an extra ppick.I might have gotten 2 picks in which case I'll drop one of my pitchers.

Further to CS3's point, basically Yahoo draft software can't handle an unequal number of draft picks. When you trade during the season, it forces a pick to go back and forth, so the easiest thing is usually swapping the last round pick back to whoever sends the pick.

Sounds like you may have gotten it figured out though.
