I miss you in Cincy Josh Hamilton. At least I didn't miss you in my L/U today. 2 dongs. Lind has a dong and were looking down a 40 plus point cash game night for the fourth night in a row.

Even though the game wasn't in NY I was way too chicken to play Gray. I read somewhere that the Rockies struggled with LHP and I just auto went with Cole Hamels.

doing the late slate so he wasnt a option, mixing between Gray/Liriano/Shield/Bauer.

If you play Stressburg at this extended point you deserve to do nothing but loose. I believe he needs to show you something before you can play him again (cash game) As a tournament pick I would have no idea.

I'm playing 100% cash games in MLB. 50/50, double & triple up. Obv Max crushed again with Tulo/Hammy on all rosters, but I'm trying to learn the reasoning behind spending up on hitting versus your own rostered SP.

Is it just contrarian enough because most won't roster against their own SP?

I'll need someone to explain the hitter against your ace pitcher on the same team. There is 0 reasoning I can get behind that it is smart.
Even if he dongs like Tulo did, why are you rostering a pitcher hoping he gives up a dong maybe two?

well I can see a scenario where you start a hitter (Tulo) who is best at his position especially when it comes to power. He isn't highly owned because most will play Cole (around 35/40 percent). If Tulo hits a solo shot it's worth 6 points but only cost Cole 1 point and if he smashes 2 doubles later on and doesn't score you can add 4 more points that cost the pitcher nothing. I don't do it but in cash I can see it occasionally.

I have been thinking about this every since you typed it and I think you're on to something. At least Tourney wise.

Apparently he did this in all of tonight's GPPs as well. I just want to to know if this was a -EV decision that luckboxed or +EV somehow.

Max didn't do it on DK cash games that i see.

It just comes down to value. Like imagine if both players cost $1. Their combined scores are not zero sum and if both are good values the negative correlation of their scoring actually works to your benefit.

It's pretty rare this is a good play though.

Won the DK perfect game tonight but lost the king of the hill on that grand slam to a Norris owner by .65. That hurts but can't complain.

I usually focus on only one site per day but yes I play both. It's tough to put enough focus in on two sites with an IRL job and other activities.

I don't know you're name/I only had two lineups. I post like 1k in action a day so feel free (though I'm likely out today since I may go to the Met game)
