Gotta look at last 7 BvP plays. Not just the regular stat lookups

Instead of being a charlie downerson. Maybe help me out. We were all new at some point. MMA is where I am good at for picks. Every other sport I suck balls. But MMA fantasy is a completely different when it comes to making your picks.

SO please help me.

I'm pretty sure the Cle forecast just went from something like 0/10%/30% to 60/60/60 to 10/0/30 in about 15 minutes. no problem figuring that **** out...

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Okay, I'll bite. Don't ever look at performance over a 7 day sample ever again. That is not indicative of future performance.

For pitchers look at things like KRate, the K% and BB% of the lineup that pitcher is facing.

For hitters, I rarely offer an opinion and let others figure that out for themselves. Some people utilize BvP, others ignore it completely. wOba is popular too. Just have to decide in your own what route you want to go down.

Me personally, I think BvP at best is correlation and not the result of a casual relationship but that is all I will say.

I've only been doing this for about seven months. I'm having a lot of fun with it, but I'm not winning yet. But I'm not taking the same kind of beating that I did learning online poker. My best advice would be to play small stakes while you're learning. There's a ton of variance and the rake is pretty bad so its hard to win. Don't play over your head...and you'll have no regrets.

Baseballreference.com is way superior to MLB.Splits are more helpful than what your doing imo.I find BvP helpful but others disagree.Getting good pitching is crucial.

Weather.com has 0% chance of precipitation in Chicago tonight. I'm sitting in my apartment about 3 miles from Wrigley Field, and it is POURING.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

so on the advice of some itt ive been playing a little at victiv over the past week or so. and while the website takes some getting used to and it could certainly benefit from some more traffic, its actually been pretty fun.

if i had a concern it would be the rakeback program. its advertised at 18% on the website and that was seemingly confirmed by a couple of posters itt, but im having trouble seeing how it adds up. the cost of the tickets in the store are super high relative to the victi you receive for entering contests even at the highest level. perhaps someone can explain this to me?

either way, thumbs up so far. more people should be on here.

Storm passed through, clear now. But I'd say there's slightly higher than ZERO% chance of rain.

I'm bankrupting myself on pitching on DK. I have one $4,600 hitter. Everybody else $3,700 or less. This may not end well.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Why are my Jays (Valencia in place of Donald), Cubs, and Nats so low owned in the FD squeeze? Did yall not check the wind?

My favorite stack might be Kershaw w/ Cubs and Royals.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Obviously Donaldson should be 99.9% vs Danks.
