FDP on FD are just so useless. The rate you earn them at/their value is way too low.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

What do you guys think of Aybar tonight (LAA)? He's priced well hitting in the leadoff spot directly in front of Trout. He's facing a 6plus ERA guy, but surprisingly I don't see any of the writers and stuff that I follow really throwing his name out much instead focusing on others. Am I missing something, or is he a solid play?

If you're not using Tulo Aybar would be in the group of cheaper options that are reasonable choices tonight.

(edit: eh i guess i have to back down from that a bit.. 256 wRC+ for harper trumps barry's 230 average on those 4 years)

barry was so damn amazing.
I realize how awesome Barry was. I saw almost every one of his atbats while he was with the Giants.
but slash lines dont do justice to what Harper is doing right now. Relative to the rest of the league, Harper is doing *almost* what Bonds did.

Granted its over just 2 months and not half a decade - but then again look what Barry did at age 22. Not even close to what Harper is doing.

Anyway, the point I was trying to to make is that the price on DK is pretty justified. People can call it a fish move to use Harper, but maybe the "fish" are on to something?
Im sure they are LOL'ing endlessly at the "regs" who all sported Coco F'n Crisp in their lineups and his .044/.176/.067 slash line

I heard the Coors has some weather and scattered showers headed that way. I know they got the last 2 games finished, any reason to believe this one will be different.

also like Kang at the same price facing a terrible pitcher and batting 5th tonight.

assuming that Matt Duffy is in the lineup facing a lefty (B.Anderson) tonight, he might be a good lower priced option at 3100

edit - DK prices

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

I like Norris and Calhoun. Calhoun batting cleanup after Trout/Pujols is nice.
But mostly Hutchison is due to serve up more dongs after a couple decent outings - thats my in depth analysis.

from RG weather thread:

Quote:
PHI @ COL – To say that models are split is an understatement. Let me give the best breakdown I can: Current radar is incredibly unimpressive, there’s not much of anything going on now or for the next few hours. My favorite model however develops a small batch of rain and weak storms, and essentially sits it right over the city for hours. Two other models keep things much drier. The NWS has just a 30% rain chance, with it falling before 10. I’m now torn between trusting my favorite weather model, and meteorologists who know this area a lot better than I do and have made these forecasts every day for decades… and I’m leaning towards the latter. In the end, if the NWS thinks it’s a 30%, and I have a few models to back that, I have to steer my forecast that way. I’m not saying no risk, but I’ll go with more YELLOW and less ORANGE in a tough forecast.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

cs3- Harper's price on FD is where it's way out of line.

60 GPP lineups in 2 hours, no problem. 200 in 2 hours, rough. I did manage to get all edited but the last 40 or so are a blur of anything I could click to differentiate in 1 spot from my base lineup w/o really having any time to think or scroll.

Aybar sucks vs RHP and Drew Hutchinson is solid vs RHB. Just no reason to even consider Aybar tonight.

Aybar has essentially zero platoon split and he would hit lefty vs Hutchinson.

Whoops, forgot he was a switch hitter. I'm dumb and talking out of my ass, ignore me.
