Or any player since Denver got a team. The outfield is huge so every catcher doesn't hit 40 homers in the thin air. That makes the gaps huge for lots of bonus doubles and triples, not to mention the distance between the OF and infield tacking on scores of free singles. It's the best singles park by far, best HR park, and if it's not the best for 2B's and 3B's it close. Also breaking balls don't break as much in the thin air, another advantage to the hitter. Col pitching is always overworked due to all the free hits and runs and extra pitches thrown. Road pitchers can fatigue due to the thin air, and having to throw a bunch more pitches in a 3 game series than usual. Plus, as generally sucky as the rocks are, they really know how to hit at Coors, and now they've got a stronger lineup than they have had in a while.
All that said I think people overdue it with the Coors plays a bit. DK got really proactive with Coors pricing in the second half, unlike FD who adjusts pricing to Coors for the last game of the series or just as the visiting team is leaving town. I found it impossible to pay 4800 for Blackmon or Dickerson while throwing 2 aces in cash games.
