What's up with the prices today on DK? They went from ridic overly pricing pitchers to seriously underpricing them?

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

I'd think that stacking the most popular offense on a 15 game slate is not smart at all. I can see wanting to have high exposure but stacking seems bad.

Bautista with 0 at 25% owned will kill everyone's win equity, though obviously he's still going to hit 2 homers

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Sucks when you take Strasburg in every lineup because of matchup, and price, then he gets rocked and they pull him after 60 pitches, yipee on to tomorrow.

You want high exposure to a team that could score 10+ runs, but you don't want too many of their bats in one lineup?

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

I didn't say whether I wanted high exposure or not, just that on a full slate you want more disparity in your lineups than a stack. Also, any team can score 10+ runs(sometimes even 20), but some teams are full of 1% owned players while others are full of 20+%. Maybe I'm wrong but it seems like on a 15 game schedule the average winning score is higher than on a 6 or even 10 game slate, which makes me think stacks are less favorable.

And yeah as I said earlier in the part of the post you chose not to quote, if you stack a popular team in a big GPP where one of your expensive bats puts up a dud you're not going to have any win equity, imo

Shields 18
Martin 10.75
Bird 8.5
Drew 16
Headley 16
Tulo 2.25
Pillar 9.75
Ellsbury 10
Bautista 0
91.25

I don't think anyone can beat that on FD today.

Why do you think it won? Because of the 20+% owned players or the the <5%/1% ones

My whole point was that if the Jays went off today you'd have almost no shot at winning with a dud considering how popular the stack was. I'm pretty sure my logic here is quite sound.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Step 1: Play the main slate hoping people will make the mistaking of paying for Arrieta in cash on FD

Step 2: Deploy Strasburg

Sept 3: Watch Strasburg put up 3 points

Step 4: Arrieta throwing a no hitter though 7.1

Step 5: Lose
