Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

Bad rookie card investment system is all over Greg Jefferies and Phil Plantier tonight.

I also downgraded a couple of bats and took Hellickson in some, and maybe that was the right play tbh, and I had more of that play, but I felt the upgrade at bats and the variance Rodon brought was worth the risk.

EDIT: Also, if I had seen the high ownership of Severino, no chance I would have chosen him over Rodon's low ownership, the plays were similar with equal ownerships imo.
Huh? Here's a graph showing his scores by game on Fanduel.

>20 1 time
>18 2 times
>16 2 times
>14 5 times
>12 6 times
>10 7 times
<10 9 times

Average score 9.83.

Even if you're not on Fanduel it's still going to be a similar trend. There's not much upside there. I'd say there were two great starts, then a few very good ones in the 15-16 range, and the rest were all okish or way worse.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

So you think Severino was a better play last night or Graveman? Or downgrade bats to get Hellickson(which is what I did in the majority of my games).

EDIT: Also I'm currently only playing on DK, so FD scores mean nothing to me.

How bad is it to be using Iglesias/Anderson in the early slate?

My Draft Kings Early Lineup

Iwakuma
Sheilds
Swihart
Belt
Solarte
Duffy
Bogaerts
Blanco
Castillo
J Upton

This is a 10 Person League, top three paying.

I'm still new to this so feedback welcome.

Had to find a way to fit Goldschmidt today, imo. I made 50 FD lineups, 50 with Goldy.

I also see that while doing this on my phone I played Solarte against my own pitcher.

Could differentiate yourself a bit with Pat Listach and Bill Ripken.

It seems like he walks or makes outs lately, but then I look at his numbers:

.340/.456!/.582 with .431 wOBA. What a hoss

Are we all picking Kershaw tonight or are we fading?

currently planning on going him/degrom with cheap and medium bats on dk. enough decent cheap bats to do it. chris johnson at 2k is an easy one

I'm fading Kershaw in favor of some extra cap space and DeGrom.

My plan too, got some decent bats tonight, hopefully they come through.

EDIT: Hope some of you guys at the early slate had Iwakuma, no hitter.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

I generally can fade any pitcher, except Kershaw, probably going to play him in 1/3rd of lineups, that's as hard as I can fade him.

Re: MLB 2015 DFS Thread

i'd guess degrom is a bit higher owned with most taking some savings. actually, wouldn't be remotely surprised for degrom to be much higher owned in dk tournies

I wonder what the TOR bat prices would be if they played at COL?
