The guy is running hotter than the sun and people keep playing him it's ridiculous. At least today he had a high team total and bats leadoff so it was probably close to neutral EV.
But on a 15 game slate and unreal better hitters I just think it's pretty terrible playing him. I mean have you looked at steamers ROS projections for him???? lolparra4life keep making me look dumb Gerardo I can handle it

I don't know why you hate on him so bad but he has been pretty much a must-start when facing RHP and batting lead-off, and I've been watching his at bats to know he is legit. If it is a good RHP you can choose to avoid but against average to bad there has not been much better value out there. Obviously you don't start him against LHP or if he happens to be down in the order. Also, he is obviously not the player your lineup revolves around but a great value play that allows you to fit other good players into your lineup (while he has also been performing as a great player as well).

Meanwhile, on days you've doubted him I've seen you brag about starting Torii Hunter and Joc Pederson in his place, both whom I consider worse options right now, so if you have other good alternatives at the same price point I would love to hear them, also I'm playing mainly DK right now so your FD pricing might be different, but instead of just hating on a guy I'd love to see who you think is better at the same price point.

His price has increased enough recently that he is no longer an auto-start but he has been pretty much a must-start several times over the last 1-2 months when he was close to min-priced. Sorry you missed the boat on that but ripping on him doesn't fix that or make you correct.

I thought Parra was screwed out of an RBI last night. Runners at first and third and nobody out, he hits a grounder through the legs of the first baseman. Runner from third scores. I think you have to give an RBI in that case, but they didn't.

Because you can't really assume the runner is going to be thrown out at home in that scenario. I didn't see a camera angle, but I assume the runner from third is going on contact, because he doesn't want to be staying at third if they attempt a double-play. Since the ball wasn't fielded at first, its impossible to say whether the first baseman would have thrown home, or gone to 2b, or even just take the out at 1B. If there were two out, of course this would not apply, but with none out, I don't think you can assume a successful tag play at the plate.

Dear FD, please take out the ERA part of the Game Logs and replace them with the actual ER against. Nobody cares if a guy went from 3.50 to 3.54 ERA between starts. We want to know how many runs he's giving up on each particular start. Not rocket science.

Vogt's under priced @$3K, Gomes if you want min price. I rarely use 8th/9th hitters, even at C, but Chirinos and Castro are in good spots tonight in what could be a high scoring game. Realmuto and Castillo in good spots as well but pricey at the same tag as Vogt. Norris @$2300 is always an option at the top of the order, even vs R's imo. Wieters and Lucroy look decent I just generally avoid pitchers that strong. Yadi's cheap and should see some fat strikes. I'll have a lot of shares of Posey.
