Tomorrow @FD 1.9k is going to separate Kershaw and Archer. The common view I hear all the time is never start a pitcher against the Royal's (they never strike out). Should you as a dfs player

1 Assume that Archer is always striking guys out and there's no reason to think he can't grab 7 plus k's.

2 KC doesn't strike out much so paying 1.9k more for Kershaw is better since he will probably be the biggest favorite on the board. (W 4 points) and will have double digit k potential.

Curious about how guys look at situations like this.

Can we assume that Joc is in a huge rut? He has struggled 5 for his last 38 (1HR). The troubling part is it's been against some terrible pitching. Has he hit the rookie wall?

Ugh had Cueto/Kluber in 100% of my line-ups but can't pick hitters to save my life. Back at it tomorrow.

I'd pay 1900 more for Kershaw if Archer had Toledo. I'll take the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th best pitcher in the game for that kind of savings, maybe less. Archer isn't on that level (yet). As is 1900 just isn't enough, imo, especially with all the value available. There's just too much cheap pop available every night to worry about saving 1900

That said if Archer is the best on the slate I don't worry too much about what teams do or don't K a lot (and like you say I assume he'll get his, even if at a slightly lower rate). I focus a lot more on ballpark. Losing a K or 2 because KC makes contact is less worrisome than a park gifted 3 run bomb against, like could easily happen at any of his road games in the AL East.

Roth on Twitter seems to leave me in good spots. I haven't had a major malfunction due to weather in quite awhile. I usually stay away from pitchers in weather issues though, I usually don't let it bother me regarding hitters, unless it's a super high chance of ppd. Tons of people were scared off Brantley (CLE) last night because of the weather and I read the game would play and he was fantastic @ 3.1k FD (that's lolparra cost).

thoughts on PArra in the early slate? I need a 3rd outfielder and no one in the league is swinging a hot a stick as him

$3400 on FD and $3600 on DK seems like highway robbery

Adam Jones is at a similar price point on FD, I would rather use him.

Yahoo launched Daily Fantasy...

I wish they would have created a whole new platform and not just gone off yahoo.com because there are no username creations, everyone in the lobby just had a first name so you never really know who you are playing.
