pretty surpised seeing big fern bout the same ownership as syndegaard. feel like what he did was absolute best case as they were obviously gonna be super careful with him

that was a bit harsher than i intended. roark has an awful k % and was on a pitch count and wood was never throwing more than couple innings as it was clearly gonna be a bullpen game

A minimum cost sp vs terrible teams to let me get madbum plus basically every hitter I want is pretty sweet in cash. lineup managed top 10% gpp too

the whole point is neither were actually starters. they both weren't expected to throw more than a few innings, which is what they did. but hey, just keep on believing its not god awful cause the rest of your lineup happened to do well

Man dk has no early tournaments, and only 25k on the moonshot. They put out bigger guarantees on 3 game slates.

I've been doing DK for about 3 weeks now. What's a good cash % in GPP? I've played about 100 in the 3 weeks and am around 25%. Is this decent?

Man there was a $5 satellite to the Mega Grand slam tomorrow via NFL that was guaranteeing 250 seats yesterday. Had 300 people in it a couple mins before lock. I saw it at last minute and somehow was only able to click in 20 line ups(5 line ups 4x each) before it locked and finished with 580 people.

Hope to scoop 20 seats with a decent night from Ryan/Julio/Demarco

Just using round numbers, most of these GPPs pay about 20% of the players. So all things being equal, you should cash about 20% of the time. Therefore, you're doing a bit better than average by cashing 25%. Of course, if you're just min cashing, then doubling up 25% of the time will be a losing proposition.

Probably easier just to focus on the overall +/- of your account.

ive really soured on gpps recently given how -EV they are without overlay or playing a bunch of lineups to bink the top .1%, but like a fish cant help but enter all my lineups into one just in case

Yep. On DK, a GPP that's filled will have a rake of about 13%. That's a pretty significant difference from the standard ten percent for many 50/50's and other contests. The step tournaments are less than ten percent for everything except step 1, which is 10%.
