Field is super wet and doesn't drain well. Guessing they won't want Trout playing in that outfield. They can play day / night double header tomorrow. Hope they get it in though.

50/50 [24/34]: (35.56%)
Double Up [1378/2113]: (7.57%)
H2H [3128/5906]: (3.6%)
Tournament [370/1529]: (11.74%)
TripleUp [892/2213]: (12.38%)
QuintupleUp [482/789]: (42.65%)
TripleDouble [363/831]: (38.4%)

these are my only "top 10" cashes, nothing significant. most of the time its min cash or min cash + 1 spot. i cashed big in the 1 million too but that was 32nd for 3k

Well looks like I gotta start playing these quintuple ups regularly

Being in the tournie section helps a lot, not wild about the rake in the DU's though. I usually skip those but always play the quints.

The amount to cash in the quintuples is usually about the same as the grand slam. Except min cash there is usually just double or 1.5x vs 5x

The big quintuole they run is usually significantly lower than the grand slam cut off

Double ups seem relatively pointless to me when they are higher rake than 5050s and 5050s fill very often with tons of unknowns.

That said I can see playing them over 5050s if you're mixing in some of the "higher" stakes ones that are like 10-20 mans which have a much worse known/unknown ratio.

But you can basically mass 1, 2, 5 dollar ones which are 50man+ so doesn't seem necessary unless you're putting way more action in play

Also you're right it's way easier to enter games on the iPhone app compared to the website. Makes no sense

The approach I've been taking to DFS has consisted of making a couple of lineups and then entering a bunch of micro 50/50s. Have yet to really experiment with GPPs but heard those require more contrarian lineups. Are the triple ups and quintuple ups really that soft? Also, I have only been playing on DK. Is Fanduel better?

Everyone has a preference but I doubt many would be a long term winner or loser at one site and not the same at the other site. If you're just starting out I would focus on getting better at one site before switching or adding new sites.

There are also single entry double ups that aren't the BIG double ups. Rsig have you tracked results for those double ups vs the BIG double ups?

this is what ive been doing. 3-4 lineups, each in 10/20/50/100 man double ups for $1 or $2. if you sign up for ones early in the day you can get some value from people who dont update their lineups close to gametime ime.

about 9% higher ROI on "big" ones vs. the standard ones. roughly the same amount of entries

entry fees are much higher for the big ones too since i do 10x $2, 6x$5, 4x$10, 2x$25, 2x$50, 1x$100, 1x$200 [depending on the total #, sometimes i skip the $200]

vs. like 15 $5, 15 $2, 10 $10, or whatever they offer

I usually only enter the $50 and above non big if it looks like there will be an overlay because they are tough. Sometimes you get lucky and have seven ppl in a thing that pays top 5

random question as I'm a newb...but how much weight do you guys put on a batter's history vs a specific pitcher they're about to face?

Say A Rod is batting .500 over a sample size of 30+ at bats vs said pitcher, would you load up on A Rod for the day or do you kinda have to take that with a grain of salt? How important is that stat? I've been putting a lot more emphasis on this in the past couple days and it's been kind of hit or miss but obv over a very small sample size.

Exactly zero for any sample size.

And thanks to the LA rainout we now won't get a lineup for the Angels game.

I would recommend Michael Lorenzen. He is the money favorite in the chc/cin game according to bovada and getting him will give you money to pay up for a rockies/rangers stack.
