If I'm reading the above correct FD charges double the rake as DK. How do they justify charging double. I like the games at FD and enjoy playing them, but tbh if there charging double rake I feel like i need to run over to DK.

I don't play FD, so I don't know. Let me give you an example though from DK. Say you're playing a $5 heads up game. There would be $10 in the pool, but DK removes $1 for rake leaving $9. So you bet $5 and win $4, which is only 80% of your investment, but when I speak of rake percentage, I'm talking about how much is taken for rake out of each dollar wagered...which in this case is 10%.

Today there's a $5 GPP with a $2,700 prize pool. There are 620 entries. So that's a total of $3,100 wagered if the GPP fills up. That means $400 of the $3,100 is removed for rake. So divide $400 by $3,100 and you'll find the rake is 12.9%. Ok?

So last nights dodger stack with trout somehow made me no money.

Today stacking 6 players from the same team in the early slate. Let's see how it goes

my guess is im going to be leaning towards playing muti entry field tournamnets, and also heads up matches so half n half ,starting with 200-300 what type of buy ins would i be able to play while being able to handle variance in a reasonable manor. Keep in mind i have been studying baseball for 20 years and general very good in regular fantasy leagues also going broke wont be the end all be all if i lose 300 bucks but would like to use some bankroll manegment while playing, any info on buy ins off this roll would be great. thank you

Personally, I'd keep total GPP buy ins <10% on any given night. For H2H and double ups, you should be able to safely increase to between 10%-%15%.

Of course, this assumes you have an edge. If not, then it doesn't matter and just comes down to how long you want your money to last.

I don't understand why DK isn't doing any all day slates. Two day games on one slate. Six night games on another. An eight game slate would be a nice option it would seem...but whatever. Hate two game slates. You've gotta roster a hitter against one of your own pitchers.

Really don't understand people's aversion to this. Obv on a large slate it makes very little sense, but on a small slate you should be able to use this to your advantage. Usually you can identify the high % pitcher(s), and you know that most people will shy away from using a hitter vs them. So if there is a good play on the team your pitcher is playing against, use them and have an advantage over everyone who used suboptimal batters just to avoid taking a hitter vs their pitcher.

You can't use guys like Stanton because if he has a good day he probably ****ed your pitcher in the ***. Odubel Herrera, notsomuch.

Welp sitting in 3rd right now but have Chavez and Calhoun going. I suppose that's a mistake that wont work out in my favor.

It can, and I really don't think it's a big deal at all in a 2 game slate.

Just looked at 4 forecasts for Cle, all different. I'm leaning fade right now..

I have 36 lineups and this beats them all by 10, or more. I might get 5% back
