I've noticed some discrepancies between the price players are won for in the waiver auction and the price they are listed at on the team's roster. Please check Exit's roster spreadsheet if you are unsure how much cap space you have when bidding on players, since that will continue to be the official record.
I didn't change any of the salaries I spotted, since I wasn't sure if there was a specific reason for it or not.
I just double-checked the list of any FA additions from the draftrookie spreadsheet that were over $4. Here are the ones that never got corrected on the CBS rosters:
Levarkin - Cristian Guzman ($5)
Karak - Chris Young ($6), Will Venable ($5), Mike Pelfrey ($5)
AweNuts - Edgar Renteria ($6)
Prime - Clayton Richard ($5)
Coff - Miguel Olivo ($5)
Jokes - Alex Gonzalez ($8)
Sergsz - Doug Fister ($7)
Rack - Matt Lindstrom ($13)
There are also a few that may have gone uncorrected, but have since been dropped, so it's still up to the owner to confirm they have cap space. That cap number listed on the add/drop page may not be accurate. This wouldn't create a conflict with the "free drop" policy for $4 guys, since the owner just pays the difference (I think).
I am really confused. Do I need to go through all my transactions and adjust the spreadsheet? I haven't been paying close attention because I thought Sportsline was taking care of it.
Nope, you don't have to do anything. The spreadsheet is correct, I had just noticed some salaries in the CBS rosters that didn't match up with the spreadsheet.
I wanna trade Mariano Rivera. Obviously want a lot in return. PM me with any offers. Looking for essentially any player at any position. Only thing I don't care about really are SBs unless a player is truly elite in SBs
Don't forget about Pecota's Slightly Used Pitcher Sale. Prices may vary depending on make, model, and year.
Blanton, Carmona, C.J. Wilson, Villanueva (the Brewers' closer for the second half of 2010 and beyond) and Zambrano are all available. Other pitchers could also be available.
Looking for a keeper-quality power hitter with a salary I can afford to take on.
Just a reminder to please check whether a player is considered a rookie before bidding on him (a bunch of different people have done this, so I'm not singling anyone out).
Let's talk a bit about next year's draft. Let's say hypothetically that I don't choose to call up any of my rookies this year, and all of them are eligible to be rookies next year. I presume that when the rookie draft comes around next year, I could drop any of my team's 10 rookies in order to draft a new rookie, but if I'd prefer to have my current roster of rookies to any of the new guys that I could draft, then I basically forfeit my pick and you skip me for the rest of the draft. Is that how that's going to go?
I think so too. Does one of our many fine commissioners want to push this one through since more than 48 hours has passed since the trade was announced?
