Cool, well I just talked to Exit so I'm in and I'm going to take on team Thundercoff. I might try and bring on another co-manager later if every one is cool with that. I have a guy in mind thats in my fantasy basketball league right now, but we don't speak regularly and I'm not sure if he's interested still. I mentioned this league to him back in December and he seemed to be interested then, but I'll have to check.

As you guys can see, with law school and everything it's tough for me to run the technical side of administrating the league. Plus I'm terrible with details anyways. I'm much better suited to rule making, overall maintenance and guidance of the league and getting the big picture together. That's why Pecota and (hopefully if he wants to) ExitOnly will be a huge help during the season.

We're waiting on Pecota and Levarkin to join the auction and it'll start. Levarkin has been MIA since Thursday, and is the only one that hasn't paid yet. BUT he was in our midseason league, 2p2er since 2005, seemed really interested, and sent me a PM on Thursday saying he was working on paying, so i'd think he should be around anytime now.

Yeah, I forgot sorry. I just got brutalized by a midterm, and I am going to go home and drink beer and eat my sorrows away. During this time I will start setting stuff up.

You will still be able to. You have 24 hours on every player. As soon as Levarkin gets here the auction will kick off as long as you are signed in. I highly doubt missing 3 hours of "action" (if Levarkin shows soon) will disenfranchise you in any way. I don't think holding the league up is worth that.

You can look at the bidding histories of players that are up for auction too. So you could retroactively look at the early action.

But that said, I'm not feeling super confident that Lev will show up before you get back from work. (edit: slow pony you joined already, thats cool to. come onnn levarkin)

Another thing, when bidding on players make sure you have the "Make max bid my real bid" checked. Otherwise it will take whatever bid you enter, and use it as a max bid, which doesn't work with our 10% bid increases. (Example: Pujols is going to $100 ($10M). Someone goes to bid $110. If they dont have the box checked, it'll bid $101, and then keep upping it towards $110 until someone bids $111.)

For the few weeks Levarkin has been posting Monday-Thursday then not posting during the weekend. I predict a sighting tonight or tomorrow.

But if i'm wrong, how long you guys want to wait for him?
