Kind of sucks Ryan Raburn is not 2B eligible on ESPN, that was one of the reasons I went after him...I was deceived by couch managers I guess.

Did we talk about eligibility at all? Maybe I missed that whole discussion but CBS was 5 games to be eligible at a position, what is it on ESPN 20 games?

I think its 20 games last year to be eligible at the start of the season, 5 games this year to become eligible during the season. Been up 26 hours hope that makes sense.

Someone tell me a bit more about how the auction works. Is it a single bid thing, and can I bid on extra people, or do I need to make sure I win the guy I want so I don't have to wait until next week to fill the slot?

Yeah, it told me Vlad was OF eligible as well.

yea we did 20 games last year 5 this year.

and FA auction works: you make a bid on a player (blind), if you need to drop someone to fit them on the roster you must also make a conditional drop. you can put in multiple bids for different players all conditionally dropping the same guy, they'll be processed in order, once one goes through the rest will be void (as you don't have the player to conditionally drop anymore)

tie breaker is reverse order of standings.

Announce drops here?

No need to announce. We'll see transactions every week on the front page.

Anyone want any of the pitchers at the back end of my roster. Probably going to cut a couple of guys off my bench (not Mejia), so let me know if you want either of them, and we can probably sort something out pretty easily.

Add/Drops have been processed for this week. All transactions are listed on the front page under "Recent Activity."

Exit, if you give me access to edit the google spreadsheet, I can input the new players. How do you want drops to be reflected on the spreadsheet?

Also, I will update the espn team payroll values to reflect the free $4 drops once the spreadsheet is updated.

Anyone got a link to the spreadsheet? I have lots of OFs, looking for pitching. Hard to negotiate trades without seeing salaries though.

That spreadsheet (with salaries) is also linked on the front of the espn league page, for future reference.

Much obliged. Ichiro and Burrell (a surprisingly good power / OBP player on very cheap contract) available.

Say I were to cut a rookie from my roster, should they then be treated like every other rookie? meaning they are unable to be picked up by some other team via waivers? or once players are drafted a first time should they be fair game if put into waivers - note there is no way to tell the difference on the software between undrafted-rookies/rostered minor leaguers/cut rookies, so you'd just have to know from memory/paying attention.

I would treat any rookie cut from a roster the same way we treat other true rookies: they can only be acquired via the draft until they graduate from their rookie status. We had a few guys floating around on waivers last season (like Freese) that we weren't allowed to pick up, even though they were playing in MLB. I see your point about a player already being drafted once, but I don't view that player any differently than other rookie "free agents."

So waiver pickups are daily this year, unlike last year, obviously?
