Exit will have to implement the roster shuffling, but there a couple of items:

1.) Fifield signed Peter Bourjos as a FA for $4, but Bourjos was already drafted on geoff's team. This was one of the very last signings made, so Fifield just has to pick a different player to finish his roster.

2.) Bourjos is currently listed in geoff's minors system, but is no longer eligible to be there (181 AB in 2010). Geoff has one opening on his roster, so that will have to be Bourjos.

I don't really care what happens to the opening on his minors roster, I'm tired of fixing stuff that people don't care enough to look at themselves.

i'd really like to trade for some offensive bench depth at all positions, but especially OF. I have a ton of pitching!

is there any way to easily see the players' salaries?

salaries aren't loaded onto the ESPN site, so no really easy way. The spreadsheet is going to be used to keep track of rookie rosters and salaries, i'll make it editable by Pecota incase i'm not around. I'll post the link to the spreadsheet on teh league home page.

You gave me Mike Stanton the ****ty relief pitcher, which is hilarious, but less than ideal.

That comment wasn't directed at you, you already do more than anyone to keep things running. Speaking of which, thanks for uploading the FA's. I had started on it this morning, but have been out.

Instead of Bourjos, I'll take Kila Ka'aihue, 1B, Royals.

This is gonna suck having to look at the spreadsheet everytime to check if a player is owned. I wish there was a Minor League system like on CBS, that was so much easier.

Well owned players shouldn't be too much of an issue. You still can't pick-up rookies midseason, which would be the only players whose ownership is in question.

Yea I know what youre saying, but in a league this deep when you look at available players, right now at least, its filled with guys who are on our Minor League rosters.

Its just something to get used to is all.

So are we just going to do waivers bidding by emailing exit, since espn doesn't have salaries? Or is the some sort of FAAB that we can utilize on the site?

I tested the "add a player" feature on espn. If you select the player you want, you'll be allowed to bid a certain dollar amount (minimum of $4) on that player and submit it to the waiver processor thingy. Bids are currently set to be locked/processed on Sundays at 11pm (this was the latest available time). The tie breaker is based on whatever the standings are that week.

There is a player acquisition budget of $1000, but that's arbitrary since the salaries will be tracked outside espn. - edit: nm, exit pointing out the very obvious fact that the team budget's can be customized, which is a much better way of using them. herp derp.

espn does have a FA auction system, and i can edit FA budgets on there to reflect actual $ left, so we can do FA's on the site. i'll finish updating the spreadsheet/fa budgets now.

And it starts. Chipper with a 1.000 OBP, 2.000 SLG, and a run. And to think that I considered that an overpay.
