Also take in consideration how much have you invested on it first (cause if you won 100k investing $100 in a year is A LOT but winning 5k investing 4k after a year is not thaaaaat much, imo).

There are similarities (you take your chances and play for the long term instead of immediate profitability etc.) but I'd say poker's profitability is in the past now personally. I think the field is just too aggressive to where the ranges increase too much in combination with the rake. There's still potential to profit, but unfortunately I think the reliability of this is now gone. My opinion though.
As for fantasy, I'm probably not the best, and I'm probably a fish among those who ARE the best, but I at least tend to be a shark in the leagues I play in. I'd play in leagues where the fish are prevalent, because they tend to create champions by giving up the gold and jumping the gun. Just be the one to swindle them in obviously favorable trades and don't feel bad about it. But I also think to some extent fantasy's profitability for football is somewhat harder now too, because of things like RB committees and increased chances of injuries. It was a lot easier when clowns would reach for "elite QBs" and we'd strengthen RB/WR and still potentially beat them hard at QB anyways with guys like Stafford in 2011, RG3 in 2012 etc. But I'd say fantasy is still a worthwhile investment if you regularly get to the money.
