I'm trying to get a guillotine league going, which to me seems like the greatest degen side league format.

If you're unfamiliar with the format:

- 17 teams

- Every week, the team with the least points that week is eliminated, locked, and their whole roster is dropped

- FAAB so everyone has an equal shot at bidding on the dropped players

- No trading

- Last one standing at the end of week 16 gets it all



I was planning to commish and escrow myself (Paypal/Venmo) but I've never run a league on 2p2 before so I don't mind if another reputable poster escrows - I just want to play this format cause it sounds fun as hell. Rather not do Leaguesafe cause paying rake on FF sucks. Was thinking of a low entry fee since it'll be a side league for almost everyone. $60 winner take all for $1,020.

I'm not interested quite that high, but does Yahoo make this sort of thing easy to run?

I didn't realize Leaguesafe fees were that low, I can set this up through Leaguesafe and it'll prob be a lot easier.

Yahoo makes it pretty easy to run, commish just has to manually drop the losing team's players Tuesday morning. There's another site that automatically does it for you (My Fantasy League) but I've never played there and their interface looks like garbage tbh

Also, not sure on the budget total, but I'm in favor for a minimum of $1,000. Mainly to avoid ties. In the Guillotine league I did last year, the budget was only $100 and is this created some issues.
