We're back for the 11th version of fantasy eggball.

Your annual reminder that when this fantasy league started, we'd just witnessed the mighty Eli Manning defeat Tom Brady for the second time to win the superbowl.



Last year we ran two tournaments, both of which were cowardly chopped:

$50 very expert pro action chopped by yippie and sixfour for $200 each

$20 derper draft which was chopped by sixfour and Feel wrath for $85, with PoseidonCubed winning $30 for 3rd place.

Suggest we run the same format again:
- $20 draft
- $50 action
- Max 12 runners in each
- 0.5 PPR
- Generally open to people that post in the EPL thread, but we've generally been quite receptive of newcomers if we're struggling to fill every spot, so if you're not a regular in that thread, post underneath that you're interested and it's quite likely there will be a spot for you.

Yeah I thought I was being very clever with the timings because the original weekend was during the international break.

Since it's such a big game, it wouldn't be proper to draft during it. Suggest we do:

18:30 Draft
20:30 auction

I'm good with whenever the group decides. Pretty flexible that weekend

Fine with whatever but 19:00 and 21:00 would be even finer

Also with the state of extra time these days...

For the $50 auction, we've only got 6 runners so far. Still happy to go with this, but I think we'd do better with 2-4 more. Will also email some of the regulars.
