Okay, DENIZENS OF DFS. After discussions with management, we're going to be overhauling this forum to some degree. The idea is to generate more fresh users in the growing DFS market.

To that end, if anyone has suggestions about how to entice non-2p2ers into our DFS subforum, now is the time to make them.

I have no desire to reduce your enjoyment of the forum, so I'm interested in your input.

I thought splitting out daily from regular fantasy sports was the right idea. Only daily interests me. I was disappointed when the split was reversed.

I don't see any reason for new members to join a community when there is nothing to be gained as far as advice goes.

The only other way to grow would be some form of inorganic growth that amounts to basically buying users through something like a rakeback deal struck with the sites for active users here in exchange for a cut of ad revenue from the forum, but I can't see the either side going for that.

Any more thought given to splitting DFS/full season?

I'm looking at a $10,000,000 $20 entry fee NFL game on Draftkings week 1

$1,000,000 $3 entry fee NFL game

a $3,300,000 golf event

Fanduel has a $5,000,000 and a $1,000,000 NFL tournament week 1

Isn't this big enough for DFS to get it's own forum? I guess it's not a big deal except I miss some DFS stuff that isn't in the mega threads because most of the stuff outside of the mega threads is mostly totally off topic.

Any thoughts of a thread where bad escrows/managers/commishes are listed?

Saw a thread recently where an escrow who owes 1k+ was looking to start some football leagues. He is also running a baseball league and I am guessing they are not getting paid. Pretty much a fantasy commish ponzi scheme.

IplayPLOhigh-delayed payment on two leagues, one was a "PayPal" issue and the other was a real life issue/job loss/spent our money issue.

MDPokerAA-pretty sure this was a fantasy ponzi scheme where he paid winners for baseball with football, football with basketball, basketball with baseball that finally ran its course.

Ya, I've played in multiple leagues MDPoker ran, with no issues. With that said, he shouldn't be allowed to post new leagues again at this point. NBA ended a long time ago, I've messaged him on Twitter (weeks ago) and he replied he would get in touch with those waiting on payments, but appears there is still no resolve. His Twitter shows him as a Balt Orioles beat writer, can't believe this would be good for him. @fjdelgado27

Didn't post anything in his thread, but last year after football, he emailed me immediately after season for payment. Didnt reply for 2 days (around holidays, and sent him my info). He replied about 2 weeks later and sent then, I took it as being late to email back, and him possibly being busy around holidays, especially with no one else posting from that league about not being able to get a hold of him or getting paid.

How about a spin off forum just for NFL? So many thread title are similar, it's frustrating sifting through them all. If not possible, any way to use a different color for NFL related threads?
