I think this is an excellent idea for several reasons:
1. Potential for 2p2 to develop another calling card "edge" to associate with 2p2, which would be developed by intelligent topical discussion re: DFS and Season;
2. Generation of new users;
3. Potentially a good solution to isolating Fantasy talk outside game threads (an ongoing amusing tension but also sort of a black hole for really good Fantasy discussion); and
4. The ethos in SE is good for Fantasy analytics / strategy / etc., but a topic-locked independent forum would invite users who don't enjoy SE but do enjoy Fantasy to contribute, which hopefully would generate a new, ideal environment for Fantasy.
SirRawrsALot is my choice for the season long Forum, he's active and commishes a ton of leagues. Best part is he pays immediately after the season is over!

I think you and Hoya are obvious choices. I don't know enough about anyone else to really have an opinion. But I'd guess we could use another two given the spam type issues and some of the infighting I've seen over time.
There really isn't too much fighting as far as I can tell in the DFS threads. A couple HU4Rollz here and there but it's pretty tame. It's a new forum so angry rivalries will develop over time but in the meantime it's nice.
There is no way that either of SirRawr/Wesr should be a mod.

So Othello trying to help broke that original agreement. I also hope nobody took Wes' comment serious about paying me to throw the bet. I would never consider that.
